Keeps the junk out of our CRM and analytics
What do you like best about the product?
I really like that it gives me more confidence in our ad spend. It was always a worry that a chunk of our budget was just going to bots or fake clicks on our paid campaigns. Having this running in the background to block that invalid traffic means our money is actually going toward real people. It makes our reporting look a lot cleaner too because the data isn't skewed by non-human traffic.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the documentation feels a little outdated. CHEQ seems to update their platform fairly often, which is great, but the screenshots and instructions in the help center don't always keep up. It can make it a little confusing when you're trying to troubleshoot something yourself without having to reach out to support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest thing for us was just how much noise we had in our data. We were seeing tons of clicks and form fills that were clearly bots, which made it hard to tell what was actually working. CHEQ basically acts as a filter to keep that junk out of our funnel. It has cleaned up our analytics and paid campaign data so much that we can finally trust the numbers we're looking at. Plus, it connects with our other tools so that extra context is available wherever we need it.

What do you like best about the product?
We use CHEQ as a defence layer for our website, and it's been excellent. Every visit is challenged with real-time cybersecurity checks, catching bots and fake users before they cause any harm.
Since implementing it, our data and reporting are much cleaner — bot traffic was skewing our conversion rates, and now we can actually trust our analytics. The platform is user-friendly, integration was straightforward, and the support team has been great whenever we've needed them.
It's become an essential part of our security stack. Highly recommended.

Outstanding Partner: User-Friendly Platform That Saves Ad Spend
What do you like best about the product?
For more than three years now, CHEQ has proven to be an outstanding partner. Thanks to their support and comprehensive data, we have enhanced our IP blocking capabilities on certain platforms and successfully negotiated refunds for invalid click traffic on others. Throughout this process, we have managed to save a substantial amount of wasted spend as we scaled our paid advertising efforts globally. The platform itself is user-friendly, and the integration process is straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s very little to complain about. Initially, the sheer volume of available data can feel a bit overwhelming. However, the CHEQ team is fantastic at guiding us through it and often dives into the data alongside us to uncover insights.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CHEQ has been instrumental in broadening our IP blocking capabilities and reducing bot and invalid traffic. The CHEQ team has assisted us in negotiating refunds with vendors and provided valuable support as we expanded our paid advertising efforts globally.
Easy to use with great ROI, but integrations with certain vendors can be tricky
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is very easy to use and helps keep my ads protected. I saw an immediate return on investment with the Cheq tool. Their customer support is excellent, and I appreciate that they continue to develop new features focused on AI traffic.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integrating with platforms such as LinkedIn often involves workarounds that are not very straightforward. Additionally, the Cheq tool does not provide ad protection across all platforms, particularly when it comes to programmatic display.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use this to protect my website from ad fraud, filtering out low-quality leads and removing spammy users. It helps keep my site cleaner and ensures that only genuine users remain.
Robust Fraud Protection, Strong Solution
What do you like best about the product?
Years ago, we recognized our need for a technical solution related to fraudulent traffic hitting our websites. This traffic was coming through paid sources directly, and it also impacted our retargeting/remarketing spend for webiste visitors who never intended to convert to inquiries with our business. I appreciate that CHEQ has a robust solution to our problems, is constantly evolving its tools and practices, and is attentive to our business needs. The UI is easy to navigate, and we can easily implement the solutions we need for our advertising efforts. We leverage CHEQ technology daily, and we have consistent check-ins with our support team to ensure we are getting the most out of the product. Additionally, the initial lift to implement these solutions was well within our organization's technical abilities, so we were up and running quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
It feels odd to share this as a negative, but CHEQ is so committed to its lane that the product set is limited, meaning that we would love to explore how CHEQ's resources could be used to proactively advertise to potential customers, but CHEQ is committed to using its tools to remove fraud and protect companies instead. I respect their position.

Cost-Saving Bot Detection with Excellent Client Service
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to identify where the bots are in play and trying to increase our costs. By using Cheq, we can eliminate the costs associated with the excess clicks. Also, the Client Service team makes it easy to understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
None at this point thanks to our great team.

Exceptional Service & Data-Driven Results
What do you like best about the product?
The standout aspect of working with CHEQ has been their exceptional customer service & true partnership approach. Our reps proactively flag traffic anomalies even beyond the paid search channels we're contracted for, including weekly channel-agnostic reports they provide to our Lead Quality team. They consistently go above & beyond, like when they compiled a detailed package of 200k+ invalid Bing click IDs that our internal analytics validated had a 0.004% conversion rate, helping us justify a ~$315k credit request. They've also provided video walkthroughs to help us analyze specific publishers & detailed breakdowns of search partner & syndicated traffic by referring source. Beyond the technical aspects of the partnership, our reps are also genuinely enjoyable people to work with.
From a performance perspective, our internal testing validated meaningful improvements with 53% higher Profit/SR in CHEQ-protected campaigns & a 1.3pp conversion rate improvement that aligned with their invalid click rate reductions. We appreciate their data-driven, realistic approach - for example, they provided repeat rate analysis showing realistic upper bounds on their impact rather than overpromising, & they're useful for identifying bad actor patterns our internal tools miss.

There's some ambiguity in definitively attributing all performance improvements solely to CHEQ versus natural market fluctuations, but based on our internal validation, we feel confident that it's a significant value-add to our business.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CHEQ is solving a major problem that we couldn't effectively address on our own: bot & fake traffic clicking on our SEM ads & wasting significant ad spend. We invest roughly $150M annually in SEM across Google & Bing, so even a small percentage of fraudulent clicks adds up to millions in wasted spend. The challenge is that this damage happens on the search engine's side - once a bot clicks our ad, we're charged for it - so we need both sophisticated detection & direct integration with Google & Bing platforms to actually mitigate the issue.

CHEQ is an effective solution with many use cases. We have used it for performance marketing initiatives, and we have seen an incremental ROI year-over-year. Their support team has been very prompt and helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Understanding the implementation and backend can be a bit challenging for non-tech-savvy users. However, their support has always been good, explaining and providing helpful resources.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use CHEQ to detect and prevent invalid clicks on paid advertising. We also use this data to optimize our campaigns and train algorithms to not bring similar clicks (leads) in the future.
Cheq Provides Proactive Actions To Build A Better Program
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy that CHEQ catches the bots in real-time and prevents them from seeing our ads again to avoid spending inefficiently. This also helps to show which campaign types are more prone to bot traffic.

I don't have downsides as of now - I think having this type of product implemented with our program only has an upside.

It is preventing bot traffic from being able to see my ads so that I do not spend wastefully.

What do you dislike about the product?
Parts of the documentation feel a little outdated in spots and a little hard to follow if you were trying to implement it yourself. I feel they have been moving so fast that the docs could use a refresh, the onboarding helped with this initial hurdle.

We primarily use Cheq for reducing Click Fraid and helping to identify Bots and mitigate fraudulent form submissions.
