The best solution for Backup and Disasters
What do you like best about the product?
The Veeam Backup is the best solution in the world, because it is easy to use and all solutions integrated with the product such as SOBR (Backup Tier) .
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike but I suggest more training to licensing.

Local backup and tier to cloud.

What do you dislike about the product?
Linux agents cannot send email notifications so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Backups.
Ability to restore a file, a folder, a volume or complete VM is great. Other than that, instant Veeam Recovery option form backups directly is something which is taking lead from all other backup softwares.

What do you like best about the product?
This is a very easy to use solution, you really don't have to be a storage expert to be able to use this tool. The dashboard is so well structured that everything is made easy.

There are not many workshops and webinars,

To have a backup repository very easy to manage, and to make configurations for tuning, it is really very easy. The ways of connection are common iSCSI and SMB.
Veeam Backup & Replication - Gold standrd for enterprise backup needs
What do you like best about the product?
Very robust and reliable backup solution that integrates well with our Exagrid backup appliance. Support for data deduplication and compression, backup schedule, and ability to replicate to both on-prem and cloud DR sites. It supports replication and has a very easy-to-use and configured interface where there isn't much of a learning curve. In addition, Veeam offers excellent support when you run into problems, which assures you that problems will be solved in a reasonable amount of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like with every software, sometimes there are glitches. I wish there were a better snapshot management option when the backup fails for some reason. From time to time, there needs to be a snapshot cleanup within VMware virtual environment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Veeam is our primary backup solution for all our virtual machines and specific physical servers. With Veeam, we have set backup and replication policies with minimal backup maintenance. It also allows us to recover specific user files on the file level.
In addition, replication policies are automated where our DR site has up-to-date copies of our most critical virtual workloads.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Veeam Data Platform is very easy to use and the integration process is fast. The support is also very responsive 24/7. It's really important to me that when restoring critical data, it’s done easily and quickly, and with Veeam Data Platform, I feel confident that complicated processes won't get in the way of having a helpful backup solution. The initial setup was super easy, taking maybe just one week, which was great.
What do you dislike about the product?
We don't use the orchestrator as we have already another solution for it.

I use Veeam Data Platform for backup and recovery to protect against issues caused by employees or systems and against cyber attacks. It ensures easy and quick restoration of critical data, making it a reliable backup solution.

What do you like best about the product?
Veeam has a very wide range of products that can help your organization to backup on-prem and cloud platforms, virtual and physical servers as well. Very intuitive user interface that simplify the setup process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Really, not much. Just need to understand what kind of backup fits your backup needs, because backup speed depends on how the backup was set up at the start (File level or Drive level).

It helps to fulfill our DR policy needs and keep the data protected from any possible cyber threat and data loss as a result of infrastructure failure.

What do you like best about the product?
Data backup and data replication is easy with veeam .support team is the saviour of the hour ,they were always in rescue when needed.As setup being easy we could apply veeam backup on all sort of servers.backup on NAS is easy .

UI needs to be worked on.As being from the third world country, price seems to be on the higher side,but community version seems to be saviour.

.Veeam is the industry leader in data backup and replication because to its automatic backup feature and consistent notification. Community edition performed amazingly well, and now that we've switched to the commercial version, it's actually doing a lot more for our business. When we experienced a disaster, we discovered that Veeam had rescued our company and that both offline and online replication were secure. It assists in meeting the requirements of our DR policy and keeps the data safe from any potential cyber threats and data loss brought on by infrastructure failure.

What do you like best about the product?
Updated from community edition to paid version because of it's easy setup, user friendly UI, no hidden charges , best support team, easy to backup NAS, reliable on all the occasions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Previous version was very glitchy/buggy ,but veeam team completely rolled out new version with no glitches/bugs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automatic backup feature with regular notification is what makes veeam kingpin in data backup and replication. Community edition worked fantastically and as now we moved to paid version, it's helping our business quite great than the community edition. Both offsite and online replication were safe when we had a disaster and that time we realized how Veeam had saved our business.
