What do you like best about the product?
Veeam Data Platform is secure and reliable backup solution. good-structured interface. Veeam Data Platform Supports all environments including cloud, virtual, and physical.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes looking complicated for a single file to restore. licensing confusing & higher pricing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Use it to backup all of our virtual windows servers & restorations are easy to carry out and work well. Easy to administrator & implement.
Veeam Makes VM Transitions a Breeze with Reliable Backups
What do you like best about the product?
Veeam has been a great backup solution and has been able to work with different VM softwares to make transitioning a breeze
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't had any issues with the software but it would be nice if the on prem version updated automatically.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Backup solutions are perfect and migrating to a new VM environment/datastore software

plugin management is only pain point but rest all good

veeam is easy to use it may be backup, replication what ever it in data platform, event it made simple management in v13.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the replication feature of Veeam Data Platform and find the recovery to be fast. I also found the initial setup to be simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the recovery of heavy weight servers to be slow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Veeam Data Platform for backup and replication needs. It solves backup problems effectively. I like the replication feature, and recovery is fast.
Facilitate Daily Backup with Intuitive Integration
What do you like best about the product?
I like the simplicity of the assistant for generating and scheduling my tasks, which saves me time and clarifies my needs, such as having an immutable backup in S3. Additionally, the integration and validation of my backups with devices like QNAP or NAS is very useful because everything is integrated. The transition was a clean implementation and it was great. Following the requirements for the installation was a piece of cake.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it only works on Windows, I believe creating a web console would help to access it on another machine or via VPN.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Veeam Data Platform to perform daily and immutable backups, integrating and validating backups on QNAP or NAS. Its assistant simplifies task scheduling and allows understanding needs such as having an immutable backup in S3.

Both Veeam Backup and Replication. Thereby, it includes strong ransomware protection features, such as immutable backup repositories and real-time threat detection.

One of the biggest challenges we face is ensuring that the data it collects is reliable. When data suffers from inaccuracy, incompleteness, inconsistencies, and duplication, that leads to incorrect insights and poor decision-making.

I am satisfied, I would like the license of the 'entra' part to be more customizable in terms of which users I need to license

solves all backup problems of the Office 365 part, including granular backups

Ease of use. Implementation is straightforward. Daily use and monitoring is easy. A number of features available make it scalable.

Errors are not easy to resolve. Log files need to be inspected to determine reasons for backup failure.

Managing backups and repositories is easy. Esp when changing repositories.

The analytics and reporting features can feel overwhelming and, as a result, may end up underutilized. I haven’t been able to use the analytical components effectively so far.
