Veeam Backup Provides Piece-of-Mind for Entire Infrastructure
What do you like best about the product?
Veeam has solved all complexity issues we've had with previous backup utilities; it's very easy to set it up once and forget it's there, until disaster recovery is needed. In instances where this has been necessary, it provided no surprises in how thorough the possibility of recovery was.
What do you dislike about the product?
Veeam can take a bit to tweak exactly to the specifications your environment requires. It allows such granular control over all aspects of data preservation that some time must be dedicated to ensure the exact functionality desired is reached.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Veeam has removed any question from our ability to restore our environment in the case of any sort of catastrophe, through the use of on-and-off site replications and captures.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Veeam can take some time to get in place correctly; check the feature set and research before deployment to ensure that you reach the level of reliability that the software is capable of providing.
Ideal Solution For Bulk Data Copying
What do you like best about the product?
Why you recover backups so quickly. The Wizard makes it even easier and effective, it has never been ineffective. The setup is so easy and the knowledge base is so complete I have secured my Office 365 and VM infrastructure with minimum tweaks on the same day.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the warnings are not at first readily comprehensible. Veeam backup price is high relative to other services, and thus small companies don't.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Veeam provides our servers with reliable backup. It is possible to back up the server as an applicationserver, backup a SQL server, and you can select what DB's you want to recover instead of the entire server if you need to recover it. It is very user friendly and every beginner understands how it functions
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I want to tell others about that. You have to use Veeam software if you want quick backup management. I don't lose sleep at night because of the efficiency, solidness and easy to use.

connecting disks and drives is really hard. should have more options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
making replicas and backups. I have right now 5 windows machine running as servers. I have configured 5 backups as well as 5 replicas. In total running 10 jobs on it.
Great digital backup system
What do you like best about the product?
It's very quick to use Veeam Backup & Replication. Digital documentation is comprehensive and all the questions can be overcome. To date, the product is the best on the market to provide backups. I like backup in Azure most of the time.
What do you dislike about the product?
We had some difficulties in finding the right person who could support us at first. Veeam support was able to help us and solve all our problems after a series of open tickets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Veeam Backup & Replication is a great product. Without any question, it works very well. Our Vmware infrastructure is supported with this product. Each backup runs fine and on time. The licensed edition gives you some interesting features and provides support directly from a cloud provider for your virtual machines. In Windows Azure Cloud, we run some of our computers.

Only play with it. Please check the solution from business hours to begin testing.

What do you like best about the product?
Veeam is animportant software for our IT department because all our backups and replication are performed by Veeam. We are doing backups locally on the physical server on which we install Veeam software. We could easily deploy the software into our organization. Creating backup jobs are easy and very understandable. Very easy for us to write documentation as well. We currently use Veeam Backup and replication 9.5.

What do you dislike about the product?
The cost for managing over 10 virtual machines is not permissive for low budgets. It would be great if they could decrease a bit the price.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All our backups are run by Veeam. This solves all our problems of backups that we had in the past. The situation now is monitored and under control.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use Veeam proxy. It decreases the time of backups.

What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of Veeam Backup & Replication once configured properly is one of the best in the business. Great reports and notifications.
What do you dislike about the product?
The setup is not the most intuitive. It took multiple attempts and phone calls to get it set up properly. The documentation on their website is not the best.

What do you like best about the product?
Add storage, take snapshots, backup, and restore can be done quickly. They have an excellent support staff. The Veeam backup and replication is doing backup tasks promptly and efficiently. It's Straightforward to schedule backup jobs and add new jobs. We can recover and restore the entire VM image quickly. Compatible with both VMWare vSphere and Hyper-V. In something happens when backup job running, it shows relevant error messages. So, we can troubleshoot quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have not faced any serious issues with the Veeam backup and replication.

Veeam backup and replication is one of the reliable software to backup and replication. We use Veeam backup and replication to back up our virtual servers and replicate it. Using this, we can get a full VM backup quickly. Now we have confidence that if something happens to the servers, we have backups.

What do you like best about the product?
Veeam Backup is perfect automated Disaster Recovery tool, we helps to move the bulk data to another place, very user friendly software, we have been using this tool more than three years. Ability to work with any kind of virtualization platforms such as VMware, Microsoft. implementation and maintenance is very easy. Also Veeam Backup solution sends the notification once the Job is completed, which helps lot to know the backup status

Nothing to dislike, As we are happy with Veeam software features, But comparing with other products veeam prices is quite high.

Veeam helps to send our organization daily data backup to DR site, which is automated and happening mid-nite. User friendly solution, Learning process take only few mints. ideal solution to handle the Bulk data. Also Replication process also easy.
