Veam Backup & Replication best tool for backups
What do you like best about the product?
Veeam is animportant software for our IT department because all our backups and replication are performed by Veeam. We are doing backups locally on the physical server on which we install Veeam software. We could easily deploy the software into our organization. Creating backup jobs are easy and very understandable. Very easy for us to write documentation as well. We currently use Veeam Backup and replication 9.5.
It's easy to create backup jobs and rules. Having detailed information once the backup job is completed.

What do you dislike about the product?
The cost for managing over 10 virtual machines is not permissive for low budgets. It would be great if they could decrease a bit the price.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All our backups are run by Veeam. This solves all our problems of backups that we had in the past. The situation now is monitored and under control.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use Veeam proxy. It decreases the time of backups.

What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of Veeam Backup & Replication once configured properly is one of the best in the business. Great reports and notifications.
What do you dislike about the product?
The setup is not the most intuitive. It took multiple attempts and phone calls to get it set up properly. The documentation on their website is not the best.

What do you like best about the product?
Add storage, take snapshots, backup, and restore can be done quickly. They have an excellent support staff. The Veeam backup and replication is doing backup tasks promptly and efficiently. It's Straightforward to schedule backup jobs and add new jobs. We can recover and restore the entire VM image quickly. Compatible with both VMWare vSphere and Hyper-V. In something happens when backup job running, it shows relevant error messages. So, we can troubleshoot quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have not faced any serious issues with the Veeam backup and replication.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Veeam backup and replication is one of the reliable software to backup and replication. We use Veeam backup and replication to back up our virtual servers and replicate it. Using this, we can get a full VM backup quickly. Now we have confidence that if something happens to the servers, we have backups.

the faster feature is to activate a restore point and move to the production environment.

The licensing is reduced and spitted for physical servers

What do you like best about the product?
Veeam Backup is perfect automated Disaster Recovery tool, we helps to move the bulk data to another place, very user friendly software, we have been using this tool more than three years. Ability to work with any kind of virtualization platforms such as VMware, Microsoft. implementation and maintenance is very easy. Also Veeam Backup solution sends the notification once the Job is completed, which helps lot to know the backup status

Nothing to dislike, As we are happy with Veeam software features, But comparing with other products veeam prices is quite high.

Veeam helps to send our organization daily data backup to DR site, which is automated and happening mid-nite. User friendly solution, Learning process take only few mints. ideal solution to handle the Bulk data. Also Replication process also easy.

The speed and reliability of Veeam is fantastic as well as the UI, it makes it very easy to organise servers in priority and the scheduling of jobs is a great feature.

The errors that can be produced are very difficult to decide even for technical professionals.

Solution for image based VM Backup
What do you like best about the product?
Veeam Backup & Replication is best solution for image based VM Backup process. Ablity to work with Hyper-V virtual technologies and v-Spheres. very user friendly software, we can schedule the data backup also, which works perfectly and Veeam send the emails notification once the Backup process is completed. veeam is very reliable and effective product.

Nothing to dislike, But veeam annual licence fees quite high. so small business cant affordable

We are using Veeam Backup & Replication tool for replicate the VM servers to the DR sites. Daily we are sending more than 500GB, As per the schedule arrangement Veeam Backup works perfectly. also restoration also easy. Implementation and maintenance is easy. learning process take few mins.

What do you like best about the product?
Veeam Backup & Replication is Amazing solution for Auto backup process, which can handle bulk data backup, To be honest Veeam Backup helps me to do the backup quickly and effectively. Also Veeam Backup solution helps to replicate the critical Virtual machines to Disaster recovery successfully. we can schedule the backup process and veeam sends the email notification once the job gets done.

Honestly speaking i have nothing to tel bad about veeam.

Veeam very much reducing the workload, As per the schedule veeam coping the data backup and sends the email notification to configured email address. also Backup restoration process very easy, wont take much time. Veeam Backup implementation and maintenance is very easy.
