What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use and integration that allows us to be alerted when an issue occurs

I have yet to experience a situation that i disliked a feature.

it helps with incident managment, alerting us when we have a data issue impacting our customers

What do you like best about the product?
intuitive and easy to navigate, which can streamline incident management and reduce the learning curve. robust automation features, including incident detection and routing, help teams respond to incidents more efficiently and reduce manual intervention. wide range of integrations with monitoring and alerting tools, allowing our team to centralize incident management across the tech stack. flexibility in configuring incident response workflows, on-call schedules, and escalations can be tailored to suit our unique needs (across time zones, managing overrides, vacation schedules, adhoc shuffling etc.,). incident timelines and communication channels, facilitating seamless teamwork and communication during incident resolution really helped us during multiple outage handling scenarios
What do you dislike about the product?
Squadcast's pricing is not cheap, but you pay what you get for.
If you have a large team you may find this less competitive compared to other incident management tools.
Additionally, some very specific and complex incident management needs are lacking but this is only for complex scheduling and especially for very big organizations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Squadcast has helped us improve our response times and also reduce the number of incidents by improving the overall feedback loop.

What do you like best about the product?
Interface is very user friendly. It's easy to create custom rules, views, etc. Documentation is very well done and complete.

I have found that the product is flexible enough that it is able to meet every scenerio I need from it. The zero cost tier of the platform is very generious to test the product.

There are advanced features for things like creating teams, call outs, escalation points. The playbook feature is still pretty basic (basically checklists) but is being improved (and is still helpful in it's current forms)

The product team is SUPER responsive. They reach out (roughly) quarterly and offer to meet with you to ensure you are happy with the product and address any complaints of features requets you have have. They are not at all pushy on these calls, and have given me some great ideas on how I can better use the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really don't have any dislikes. Any issues that I have experienced were addressed with my converstations with the product team.

I do wish I could customize email notifications a bit more - so that they are easier to read.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Squadcast as part of cybersecurity toolset. It is used as an alert/incident tracking/management tool to receive information from our various data sources. (Given the security related aspects, I won't be too detailed in my review, but I will say the flexibility of Squadcast, combined with excellent documentation, has had it very easy to integrate our systems)

What do you like best about the product?
It is good for incident notification. It is very fast to notify me of incidents whenever my infrastructure resources are overutilized or any critical incidents are triggered via my monitoring tool. The best part is that it is very simple to integrate with any monitoring tools like Prometheus, Zabbix, and Icinga to constantly notify me of any critical issues in the infrastructure.
I always recommended Squadcast to my friends and team because they instantly got prompted for any series of issues in infrastructure.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think there is any dislike point in this application. I like these apps and recommend them to other IT sectors to use for Monitoring their infra and applications.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Whenever my applications went down or any issue was raised in my Infra, I got notified by Squadcast, and it helped me to resolve and figure out the problem early. It makes me a professional IT engineer.

When alerting is coming to all team members at same time.

Squadcast's better than Pagerduty

What do you like best about the product?
Squadcast was very easy to setup and we integrated it with the Alertmanger and Slack easily, we are able to get the alerts as fired and we are notified via squadcast slack message, email and very awesome feature call
What do you dislike about the product?
There is just one minor thing if there is team and the alerts fired then every person on that team gets the call alert, it eould be better if there is a way to filter the calls to sent to specific people when gets triggered
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Squadcast is allowing us to easily visualise the incidents by awesome arrangement, it is easily integrated with Prometheus and of creating teams using service option is too good, we created our team with a name of our choice and added team members in that which I think was not available with other vendors

Get Notified Instantly with squadcast

What do you like best about the product?
The best tool I have used till now for alerting, which notifies you instantly by calls when any critical event occurs. I found this best to use for alerting. Compared to pagerDuty this is way better to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes at the initial level of use, it may take time to understand the UI, other than this, as a user, i don't find any dislikes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a User, it effectively solves the problem by alerting on call when a critical event occurs. We have so many servers for monitoring which are being monitored and alerted by squadcast very easily.

What do you like best about the product?
Alerting is best with this tool. You get directly notified when any critical event related to your application occurs. Best tool i have used till now.
What do you dislike about the product?
The level of customization options in Squadcast, such as configuring alerts and notifications, may be limited for some users who prefer more flexibility and granularity in their configurations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Squadcast provides a reliable and robust alerting system that ensures timely notifications for incidents. It allows you to configure multiple notification channels, such as SMS, email, phone calls, and push notifications, to ensure that the right people are alerted promptly.

Efficient and very useful Platform for incident management

What do you like best about the product?
It is a very reliable platform with well-received notifications, audio quality for call alerts is much better and clearer to understand.
Gives detailed incident reports for analysis, which is very useful for RCA.
Escalation Policies can be well defined
What do you dislike about the product?
While SquadCast aims to provide a user-friendly interface, a learning curve can still be involved, especially for non-tech or new users. Some users may find it initially challenging to set up and navigate through the platform
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides high-quality audio during call alerts with better escalations in place. Also, it integrates with multiple monitoring and alerting tools like Slack etc.
The analysis and incident reports are beneficial during the creation of RCA and fundamental analysis over a specific period.
