The visibiity it brings to tracking finacial performance at all levels of the TBM hierarchy. The efficiency it creates in analyzing trends and forecasting what if scenarios.

Training and adoption of end users. Flexibility of maintaining reference data.

Helping us track and anaylze financial performance across multiple dimensions. This provides valuable insights into strategic planning.

Versatility of the product to agregate data from multiple sources and build solid reporting on that

Reporting layer is not modern enough. Not like any BI on the market, great opportunity to improve

Apptio is solving our cost transparency issue and by bringing that to our LT allows better cost managment and investment decisions

The ability to organize and connect our IT spend has been exceedingly helpful in driving meaningful conversations and benchmarking our performance in the industry.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing stands out here, it just takes time to understand and populate the model.

How our IT spend is and should be allocated to towers and budget units.

Application and Service TCO very accurate and possibility to make technology expenditure transparent to the different Business Units

Nothing to report, I think it is a perfect product

It makes technology spending transparent and makes IT, Finance and Business collaborate in a very simplified way. In addition, it provides a considerable amount of out of the box reporting.

Hybrid Cloud optimization in terms of utilization and cloud spend.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not really a dislike more of a desire to understand from a storage backend. I wish I could learn what type of storage is utilized from the SaaS offering stand point.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about ApptioOne is how user-friendly it is. I started my first job post-college back in June 2023, which is the same time I was introduced to ApptioOne. I learned how to use it very quickly, especially considering I had no prior software experience. I also like how customizable ApptioOne is in terms of altering the layout for viewing. Finally, I like how ITP and CT connect to each other.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I do not like about Apptio is that it glitches very often and is often very sensitive to the format of the data being imported.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ApptioOne displays all expenses clearly, and allows the user to compare forecast, budget and actuals with ease. It is also easily accessible, and many team members can work on it and view it at the same time. The most important feature of ApptioOne is that it allows more transparency of where the company is allocating its budget and costs.

CT reports, in ITP easy to compare plans.

Apptio require very strong person to navigate data behind CT and ITP.

Collection of variance reporting, easy to collect plans, compare them. Manage dashboard reporting for CIO.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the the ease of use to integrate and configure large amounts of data. The reporting is streamlined. Allows multiple users to work simultaneously without issue.
I've noticed a recent improvement to performance and we always really appreciate apptio's support with the environemnt performance improvement reports, which provide configuration improvement suggestions to make performance better.

What do you dislike about the product?
N/A. Look forward to integrating the new apex upgrade for reporting aesthetic improvements. I will do that when I have more time, as it will impact current reports and will require some rearrangement and work.

Chargeback. We are able to bring rationalization to our end user products and services; driving efficency and savings. We have introduced many new services to our chargeback model, this has helped IT Finance tremendously
