What do you dislike about the product?

Not much to dislike about the product. If there has to be one, it’s the challenge to adopt of OOB report without any customisation.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It provides a defensible way to connect technology and business in the same conversation. It supports decision-making for things like migration or lifecycle business cases, process changes to reduce technology usage, and the decommissioning of retired applications.

What do you like best about the product?

Clear structure to allocate cost. Easy to set up and maintain.

What do you dislike about the product?

Currently reporting studio looks old and not very user friendly. Looking forward to the new version.

Sometimes the dashboard isn’t easy to navigate or understand, and it requires fairly deep knowledge to use effectively.

Not downsides but takes some time to learn and be trained on. Practice makes perfect

iBM apptio helps finops center of excellence team to find a cost at Total cost ownership level and in APAC conference I do understand AI feature has been released for Apptio which is a addon for non executive users.

It relies on IBM Cloudability tool, it is good to have cloud cost explorer metrics can also be enabled in Apptio itself, so it will become a one stop tool for all the users in the organisation to make use of it

It helps the organisation to forecast the cost and also gives the value on the cost realisation, it also helps executives to find the cost at the TCO level

Transparency of cost allocation, useability

There is a bit of a learning curve associated.
