What do you like best about the product?
IBM Apptio has been a game-changer in how we manage and analyze IT financials. As an Apptio admin and daily user, I’ve seen firsthand how it streamlines Technology Business Management (TBM) processes, enabling clearer visibility into cost structures, budgeting, and forecasting.
What do you dislike about the product?
UX !!!!!! Can't say any particular thing. But, the overall UX can be improved.

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about the IMB Apptio solution is the support team, which has extensive knowledge of the product and its support type. with this tool, I can quickly address issues and business needs to drive the delivery of the best service to my clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although it is highly specialized and meets the most specific business needs, it is not suitable for those who need a more customized product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organize and monitor leads, marketing campaigns, and their effectiveness. It's easy to use, offers extensive online help if you need it, and integrates with Microsoft applications.

What do you like best about the product?
Integration of Business Leaders, Tech leaders and Finance leader, reports can be seen there as per their compatibility, and easy to implement reports for IT related stuff

Nothing from my side but sometime Apptio lags in Production

By combining various leaders on one plate, it is easy make decision and quick to make decisions

It’s an intuitive platform. After just a few days of using it, you can gain a variety of insights into your environment

There are integration gaps between the modules. For instance, cost sharing isn’t supported within the plan dimensions, making information management more challenging.

Apptio gave us the capacity to analyze our cloud cost in detail.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to integrate many data sources. User friendly interface that allows scenario modeling (very useful for upper management discussions). Sophisticated dashboard and reporting functionalities that allow for customize reporting. Great support by vendor provided with regards to training users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initial set up required significant commitment in terms of time spent mapping and cleaning up data sources. Fees can be steep (licensing and ongoing service fees)

We utilize Apptio to manage and justify IT budgets and upcoming projects. It helped us identify the best value for our tech dollars spent.

What do you dislike about the product?
it is not easy to configure the product, and we needed the help of a system configurator provider to help us tu settle the configuration and provide application maintenance services
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has decreased the effort to extract all the data needed for benchmarking purposes, after adding some additional details, such as project, cost pool and subpool, industrial accounting product and subtower element to the IT Tower report collection

There are no downsides as such.
Few recommendations I have include - Modules need to be built full fledged. Some pieces appear missing - but i know Apptio is trying their best to include those in upcoming launches.
