Automation Simplified with Intuitive Low-Code Builder
What do you like best about the product?
I love Workato's 'low code' recipe builder that makes it intuitive and fast to create complex automations. It allows me to design sophisticated workflows visually, saving hours of manual programming. The massive library of pre-built connectors ensures I can link almost any app without writing code. The interface made getting started very fast, especially with the user-friendly 'Quick start' guides, and basic integrations became functional almost immediately.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the high pricing and steep learning curve for complex logic can be barriers for smaller teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Workato to automate workflows, connecting apps like Slack and Salesforce. It streamlines data syncing and eliminates manual tasks. The low-code recipe builder saves hours of manual programming, and the pre-built connectors allow linking almost any app without coding.

It solve automation and integration process by its agents and now it saved my time
Handles Heavy Workflow with Ease, Minor Delays in Processing
What do you like best about the product?
I like Workato's load handling capability because we can queue a lot of tasks, and they will be executed successfully. At peak times, I have to manage parallel calls, around 1000-3000 per minute, and Workato’s workflow helps manage this effectively. Also, the configuration is pretty easy, and the console is user-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
They queue the webhooks, so the last call to be executed has a delay. If parallel processing can be improved, this delay could be reduced.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Workato for workflow automation to handle webhook calls efficiently, even at peak times with 1000-3000 calls per minute. It queues tasks effectively, though parallel processing could be improved to reduce delays.
Large Connector Library with Quick, Low-Config Setup
What do you like best about the product?
The connector library is large and for the most part each connector works without needing to do much configuration, I only wanted that so I'm happy about that. Setting up a new connection takes probably about a couple minutes and after that I mostly forget it's there, that is what I want a tool like this to be. No more manually trying to figure out where a problem occurred because the source of the information changed the way it structured itself.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing will catch you off guard, especially as the data volume grows; the cost can go up in unexpected ways that are difficult to anticipate or track and that becomes annoying quick. Some of the niche connectors are still a little underdeveloped, missing options that the main connectors have had for years. Oh and the support staff responds quick but sometimes they close your ticket without fixing the issue, cool thanks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were pulling data from a dozen or so places - ad platforms, CRM, spreadsheets everywhere in SharePoint - and someone was basically wrangling all of that by hand. Workato has created connectors that run independently and pull all of that into our warehouse. Now the team actually uses data rather than spending half of their time getting data.
Streamlined Automation with Powerful Integrations
What do you like best about the product?
I use Workato primarily for integrating enterprise systems and automating end-to-end business processes across multiple departments. I like how it eliminates manual data entry and repetitive tasks by automating workflows across multiple systems. The wide range of pre-built connectors is one of the most valuable aspects because they significantly reduce the integration time, effort, and technical complexity required to build integrations. Connecting key systems using these connectors was straightforward, and most standard workflows could be set up quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost and pricing structure can be challenging, especially for smaller teams or use cases with high transaction volumes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Workato to integrate enterprise systems and automate workflows, eliminating manual data entry and repetitive tasks. The pre-built connectors significantly reduce integration time, effort, and complexity.
Impressive Number of 3rd-Party Connections
What do you like best about the product?
number of 3rd party connections and ease of use
What do you dislike about the product?
too technical for marketers to use. Making it simpler will help
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
opens sitecore to 3rd party connections I dont need to build in-house
Easy Integrations with Workato Recipes, Backed by Responsive Support
What do you like best about the product?
Using Workato's Recipes and connectors for the last two years, it has been very easy to integrate with some of the features that we are building in our product. The customer support team is very helpful and responsive in answering our queries. Love the product!
What do you dislike about the product?
We noticed that sometimes large recipes quickly become hard to read, Hard to review in PR‑like workflows,
Hard to version control meaningfully.
Hard to version control meaningfully.

In Sitecore, Workato is used (via Sitecore Connect) to receive data pushed out of Sitecore XP / Marketing Automation—most commonly contact data and facets from xConnect—using HTTP webhooks.
This pattern is used when Sitecore needs to:
Push contact or behavioral data out of XP
Trigger external workflows (CRM, marketing platforms, data platforms)
Avoid tight coupling to downstream systems

Intuitive Design and Visual Recipes Make Workflows Easy for Everyone
What do you like best about the product?
The platform’s intuitive design makes it easy to use for both technical and non-technical people. The recipes act as visual maps of how the work flows, showing each step in between in a simple, clear, and easy-to-understand way.
What do you dislike about the product?
For me, the main downside is troubleshooting and debugging. Tracing problems through nested recipes, in particular, can get messy very quickly and makes it harder to pinpoint the root cause.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us build integrations securely and effortlessly. It also enables the team to focus on business integrations and create workflow automations based on actions and triggers. Plus, it reduces the amount of manual effort required to keep different systems in sync.
Visual “Recipe” No-Code Automation with 1,000+ Connectors and Enterprise-Grade Governance
What do you like best about the product?
The "Recipe" approach: The visual, no-code logic makes building complex workflows feel like following a simple recipe rather than writing lines of code.
Massive connector library: With over 1,000+ pre-built connectors (like Salesforce, Slack, and Snowflake), you rarely have to build an API integration from scratch.
Workbot for Slack/Teams: It’s incredibly easy to build "ChatOps" that allow users to approve requests or pull data directly from their chat apps.
Low-code, high-power: It strikes a perfect balance where business users can build simple automations, but IT can still use the SDK for advanced customizations.
Governance and Security: Unlike smaller tools, it feels "Enterprise-grade" with robust audit logs, role-based access, and error-handling features.
The Community Library: Being able to "clone" and tweak recipes shared by other users saves hours of development time.

What do you dislike about the product?
The Learning Curve: While it’s marketed as "no-code," building complex logic or using the Formula Editor often requires a technical mindset (or even Ruby knowledge).
Debugging Challenges: Tracing errors through "nested recipes" (workflows within workflows) can be difficult, and error messages aren't always clear enough to fix issues quickly.
Limited Version Control: It lacks the robust "Git-style" versioning and branching that professional developers expect for large-scale enterprise projects.
Scaling Performance: For extremely high-volume data processing (ETL), the platform can sometimes experience timeouts or performance bottlenecks compared to dedicated data tools.
Maintenance Overhead: Long-term maintenance can become a "spaghetti" of recipes if you don't document your logic heavily from the start.

Problems Workato Solves
Data Silos: Information trapped in one app (like Salesforce) that isn't visible in another (like Slack or Jira).
Manual "Swivel-Chair" Work: Employees wasting time manually copying and pasting data between systems.
Slow IT Bottlenecks: Business teams waiting weeks for IT to build custom integrations.
Fragmented Processes: Workflows that "break" when moving from one department to another (e.g., HR to IT during onboarding).
How This Benefits You
Increased Productivity: Automating the "busy work" allows the team to focus on high-value strategic projects.
Faster Time-to-Market: We can launch new integrations in days instead of months because of the low-code interface.
Improved Data Accuracy: Automated syncing eliminates human errors like typos or missed updates.
Better Employee Experience: Tools like "Workbot" let employees complete tasks (like approvals) directly in Slack without logging into five different apps.
Scalability: As the company grows, Workato handles the increased volume of data and tasks without needing more headcount.
