What do you like best about the product?
User friendly, easy to use and set up. Very intuitive user interface to generate excel, word and pdf templates. All the resources are available on the Conga community.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limitations like merging macros. Limitations on queries set to 100. Moreover, sometimes users may have to be dependent on conga support for few items. Watermark feature is not available on the tool.

We have intensively been using Conga doc gen to generate documents for our proposal templates. This tool simplifies and displays the line items in a specific format.
Grouping, use of parameters has made it more viable and secure for doc generation.

It is easy to use and has one of the most well-thought-out templates.

The use of the document generator is complicated, and only someone with experience can run the same.

I am reducing the time taken to generate contracts and documents.

Easy generation of template. Moreover, there service is too good.

The template generation can be done only in MS Word. generation/editing of templates with google docs is not possible

Conga Document generation is optimized tool that helps generating end customer facing documents.

Generation speed and data fetching capabilities are better than many available document generation tools on Salesforce.

Formatting templates for Conga documents is a bit complicated and i would not call it user friendly.

What do you like best about the product?
The application is very easy to use and easy to configure. User Experience is quite good, along with types of document generation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes debugging any type of issue takes some time to find out the issues.

We are looking for the solution to get the data in document form along with some sort of template and conga to provide exactly the same type of solutions.Also wanted to have dynamic value provider some complex formula oriented program.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Conga is easy to use and configure also they have number of plugin add on apps which can be used seamlessly, so it's doesn't make any further configuration.

Being a consultant, I have configured Conga Document Generation for our Energy and Utility customer, and its API for merging fields for multiple documents is cool and smooth.

I do not remember. Maybe the user interface can be better by reducing the number of clicks.
