Streamlined Document Creation with Conga Composer
What do you like best about the product?
I use Conga Composer for creating customized letters and documents in our Salesforce instance using merge fields. Composer makes it easy for users to send customized documents without having to type them up, which is a fantastic use of automation. Once it is set up, it is very easy for the user, and updating the templates is easy for the admin. Alos the technical assistance from their team has been wonderful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Creating the actual solution is a bit tricky but gets easier with experience. Instead of having to remember the parameters, perhaps there could be drop-down selections?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Conga Composer to create customized documents easily in Salesforce. It automates document creation, making it simple for users to send out personalized documents.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use once integrated into Salesforce.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integration was a bit cumbersome, but worked great once in place. My team uses it every day.

We are using Conga Composer to construct quotes for our customers.
Effortless Document Generation, Intuitive Setup
What do you like best about the product?
I love Conga Composer's configuration feature; it's pretty awesome. It's easy to configure, update, and re-generate the button URL or link. The user-intuitive design allows any user to quickly learn how to configure Conga Solution records to set up document generation, eliminating the need for programming or technical knowledge. The initial setup is super easy and straightforward, with the basic setup taking about 15 minutes. I would definitely recommend Conga Composer to others, rating it a 10 out of 10.
What do you dislike about the product?
Currently, the merge field mapping and Query set-up has to be done manually. If you can introduce a feature of drag and drop for Query creation and merge field mapping on the document template, that would be really awesome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Conga Composer to eliminate manual document generation, saving time and reducing errors from manual input.
Extensive Resources and Documentation Make It a Standout Choice
What do you like best about the product?
Uses word doc which has a lot of documentation and provides a lot of resources to find the answer that you need.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is kind of finnicky with all the syntax that it needs and it's dependency on word. There's also a lot to learn on queries and how they operate before you can get everything working.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating a word document and pdf to send to customers. It allows us to create it to our specifications and enable us to dynamically control the terms.
Excellent Customization and Flexibility
What do you like best about the product?
We rely on Composer to develop a range of quoting templates tailored to the recipient, whether it's a customer, partner, or distributor. The level of customization and flexibility it offers is outstanding. Integration with Salesforce is solid.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is little to dislike. User interface improvements can certainly help, as well as better online documentation and more how-to videos.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Composer allows our team to pick document templates from a list to fit their needs.
Works Seamlessly with All Salesforce Objects
What do you like best about the product?
I love its capability to work on any object in Salesforce regardless this is contract and non-contracts documents.

I would love to have LIVE updates for tables and charts

Generating and automating document creation improved accuracy and saved a significant amount of time. It provided great benefits by enabling us to quickly create proposals and contracts, as well as generate success plans through other custom objects for customers. It also standardized formatting, ensured data consistency from Salesforce records, and improved our overall customer experience.

What do you like best about the product?
The document generation process is smooth and happens automatically.
What do you dislike about the product?
When there are issues with Conga, Composer does not have a backup option to work offline.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The automatic generation of contracts for retail users is a valuable feature.
Multi-Field Queries, But Expensive. You get what you pay for.
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to query multiple fields across different objects so that the business can make the best possible form/invoice for a customer!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike is the price. I tried to get a new customer using Salesforce to use Conga and they were surprised by the bill. I was as well as I did not think it would exceed $3,000 - $5,000.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gives us a solution for document generation in bulk where the business has over 800+ invoices to send out at any given time in the year.
Endless Possibilities After an Initial Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility and scope. So much is possible!
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a bit difficult in the beginning to set up your first projects. Once you learn the ropes, it does get easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm collaborating with my vendors to create legally compliant documents for signature by our shared clients. It cuts down time, uses my existing salesforce data and also saves the form in the right records.

Steep Learning Curve and Complexity. Many users find the software difficult to learn and troubleshoot, especially those who use it infrequently

Manual document creation: It eliminates the need to manually create documents one at a time, which is often tedious and time-consuming.
