Conga composer Easy-to-read documents that bring several objects together instead of clunky excel reports. the variety of options that data can be in.

What do you dislike about the product?

Conga composer needs to improve the learning center needs to be refreshed. It is lacking in information. It needs more about UX & Options. performance

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use conga composer for our Sales, Finance, Contract and Compliance teams. It has been helpful to show executive overviews of data we house within Salesforce for users to retrieve information.

What do you like best about the product?

Conga Composer helps streamline document generation by pulling structured business data into templates. Its template features make it easier to maintain consistent formatting across proposals, quotes, reports, and other business documents. Being able to automate document creation, then distribute or store the finished files, can cut down on repetitive manual tasks. Integration options for document storage and electronic signatures also help support more connected, end-to-end business workflows.

What do you dislike about the product?

Setting up document-generation workflows can take a fair amount of technical know-how, particularly when you’re configuring templates, mapping data fields, and defining automation rules. Troubleshooting can also add time, especially if the generated output doesn’t match the intended format and you need to track down where the mismatch is coming from. Some capabilities, like electronic signatures and cloud storage, depend on which integrations you choose and how they’re configured. For organizations with only occasional document-generation needs, the setup process and the breadth of available functionality may feel more extensive than necessary.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Conga Composer is designed to automate document generation and improve consistency across business workflows. Its templates help standardize documents, and data merging reduces repetitive manual entry. The automation and delivery options can be especially useful for teams that regularly produce proposals, contracts, quotes, reports, and other customer communications. That said, the initial learning curve can be a factor when setting up templates and workflows. For organizations with recurring document needs, the time saved can make it worthwhile. Overall value for money will depend on document volume, implementation requirements, and how extensively the available features are used.

What do you like best about the product?

Easy Implementation and comprehensive Tagging in the system with the help of conga document and the support team quick turn around help was really impressive.

What do you dislike about the product?

Minor accidental formatting changes inside a Word template (like an un-nested tag or invisible font style on a field bracket) can break the merge process or cause strange spacing glitches.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use it in our application to generate a variety of official certificates, including auto-generated Certificates of Necessity (CON) for ground ambulance operators, facility licensing documents, and emergency medical services (EMS) credentials.

What do you like best about the product?

When I used Conga Composer, I loved how easy it was to pull data from multiple sources, which saved me a lot of time in generating documents quickly. Salesforce custom and native objects, as well as the Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat, integrate well with it.

What do you dislike about the product?

I found it required more configuration than Salesforce DocGen to fully set it up, even though it was designed natively for Salesforce. It was moderately difficult, but it worked fairly well once setup.

Conga Composer allowed us to create documents like SOWs and MSAs quickly by pulling data from Salesforce, saving time. It easily integrated with data from multiple sources, enhancing efficiency.

Conga Composer has streamlined our document generation process with an intuitive interface, reliable Salesforce integrations, and strong performance. The customizable templates and AI-assisted capabilities reduce manual work, improve accuracy, and save time. Support has been responsive when needed, and the platform delivers solid value by helping our team create consistent, professional documents more efficiently.

What do you dislike about the product?

While the platform is reliable overall, the UI could be more modern and intuitive, especially for new users. Initial setup and advanced configurations can be complex, and some integrations require additional refinement. The AI features show promise but could provide more automation and smarter recommendations. More transparent pricing and expanded onboarding resources would also improve the overall experience.

Simplifies document generation with an intuitive UI, reliable integrations, solid performance, AI-assisted workflows, responsive support, and good overall value.

What do you like best about the product?

Conga Composer helped me automate the creation of personalized documents directly from CRM data, saving time and making less errors and keeping them consistent

What do you dislike about the product?

In the beginning Conga Composer was difficult to configure and maintain, especially for advanced document templates, requiring significant Salesforce and administrator expertise

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It solves the problem of manually creating business documents by automatically generating accurate, personalized documents from system data, helping users save time, reduce errors, and improve productivity

What do you like best about the product?

I like the fact that Composer is tightly integrated into Salesforce and the integration is seamless enough that the whole layer is completely transparent to the user. Pricing is not an issue at the moment because we are on a bundled package, but this might change in the future. No complaints about the performance and the support is outstanding. UI/UX is as an end user is not an issue since its transparent, but for a composer admin, it could be better, especially with the parts around using MS Office to create templates, which is always a bugbear. No comments on AI.

What do you dislike about the product?

Using MS Office to create templates - always a headache working on tables, mergefields and adjusting spacing. Also, I always forget where do I get the mergefields to add to templates.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Creating contracts and invoices is a breeze. Also appreciate the tables, queries and conditional formatting within templates. Ability to configure custom buttons is also a great feature

What do you like best about the product?

I like that it’s fairly easy to update existing templates by simply replacing the template file with an updated version. We use it with Salesforce, and all we have to do is replace the file on the template object; everything else then updates automatically for any documents generated going forward.

What do you dislike about the product?

I dislike how difficult it is to create entirely new templates in Salesforce. There are several slightly confusing steps, and it often requires creating multiple records just to set up a single template, including adding a button on the Salesforce record so you can use that template to generate new documents. That said, once everything is set up, updating existing templates is super easy and worth the complicated setup.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It lets us generate official documents from templates that pull our production data from existing Salesforce records. When we need to update a Salesforce record, we simply make the change and, with the press of a button, generate a new, updated document.

What do you like best about the product?

Conga Composer saves a lot of time by automatically creating documents from Salesforce data. It helps reduce manual errors, keeps documents consistent, and makes it easy to generate things like quotes, contracts, and proposals with just a few clicks. It can be a bit complex to set up, but once its running, it's a huge time saver.

What do you dislike about the product?

The setup can be pretty complicated, especially for more advanced templates. It also takes some time to learn, and troubleshooting can be frustrating when something doesn't work as expected. Once it's set up though, it works really well

Brand Consistancy: Documents instantly pull relevent, up to date customer and pricing data from Salesforce into pre-approved, branded corprate templates.

Flexable Output Formats: Generate and share files in a variety of widely used formats, including DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, PDF and HTML.

Streamlined Approvals and Signing: Integrates effortlesly with solutions like Conga Sign to route documents, track engagment, and capture signatures rapidly.

Platform Agnostic API: Beyond Salesforce, it offers an API to pull data from almost any system of record to standerdize document generation across your entire organisation

What do you dislike about the product?

Pretty steep learning curve, complex setup and difficult to adapt, and quite high price tag compared to other providers. System can sometimes run slowly with heavy document generation. Support is good, but scales with tiers.. I have not used their AI functions.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Solves manual, error-prone document creation by automating the generation of quotes, contracts, and proposals directly from CRM systems. Helps with manual data entry and inconsistent branding as well.
