Powerful yet slightly complex

Works Well, but has few glitches
What do you like best about the product?
The software works great for what I use it for. I use to it send out site visit summaries for the company I work for. It pairs up well with SalesForce and pulls the needed information into an email template, thus saving time.
What do you dislike about the product?
When trying to make manual changes to the auto-email template, sometimes everything is inadvertently deleted because the text/info is part of a table, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The conga composer pulls info from various places in SalesForce and created an email for follow-up.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Saves time and is probably worth it!

The ability to bring in data from multiple custom objects through OAuth buttons.

Limited parameters to log detailed activities across the custom objects in reference.

Conga is awesome, it makes it easy to create standard emails with merge fields
What do you like best about the product?
Conga allows you to create email templates and customize them for each client with the click of a button. You only have to create the template once and add merge fields, for example Client Name, address, etc. and you have a standard template being sent with specific information to each client.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can get tedious when trying to create the merge fields. Also, the button creation can be cumbersome because you have to create queries and follow all kinds of specification to get the document to where you need it to be. It can be overwhelming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saving sales reps time as it relates to contacting clients. We have even found ways to give the option to send custom messages to clients if they so chose, on a standard template. There is a lot that can be done if you take the time to learn the software.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make it simpler to set up the buttons and it would be nice to have better support.

Access can be slow when merging information into a document.

We have a lot of docs. They are easy to load

I love how easy it is to create and manage templates for our sales contracts

I wish there was more dynamic functionality. For example, hiding columns in tables with no data.

We have reduced the amount of errors on contracts. We have also driven better data in sfdc by having our sales team work there instead of in word to construct agreements

Conga is such a wonderfully flexible tool. You can make things look and feel exactly how you want.
What do you dislike about the product?
The 50 document attachment limit in Conductor.

Customized invoices and past due notifications.

Give Conga a try. We’ve been pleased with it and are looking to extend it into other areas.
