Miro Supercharged Our Creative Planning and Real-Time Collaboration

  • April 30, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I liked best about Miro was how well it supported creative planning and real-time collaboration.

We used it heavily for brainstorming, storyboarding, and team “jam sessions,” especially when working through campaign ideas, content strategy, or bigger marketing initiatives. It made it easy for everyone to contribute visually, which led to more productive and engaging discussions compared to traditional docs or slides.

The flexibility of the boards was a big advantage—you can map out ideas, organize thoughts, and iterate quickly without feeling constrained. It’s especially useful for teams that think visually or need a space to collaborate freely.

Overall, it was a great tool for turning rough ideas into structured plans with input from the entire team.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, the interface could feel a bit clunky—especially when boards became large or more complex.

It was also easy to get lost in the space. With so much freedom to build and expand, navigation could become a challenge, particularly when multiple people were contributing and the board wasn’t tightly organized.

Overall, it’s a powerful tool, but it can require some structure and discipline to keep things clear and easy to navigate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helped solve the challenge of remote collaboration in a work-from-home, digital-first environment.

Instead of relying on static documents or fragmented tools, it gave our team a shared, visual workspace where we could brainstorm, plan, and build ideas together in real time. That was especially valuable for creative work like campaign planning or strategy sessions.

The biggest benefit was alignment. Everyone could contribute in the same space, see ideas evolve live, and stay engaged regardless of location. It made collaboration feel more dynamic and productive compared to traditional remote workflows.

Overall, it helped bridge the gap between in-person collaboration and remote work.

Easy, Effective Collaboration with Diverse, Simple Tools

  • April 30, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really liked how it makes it easy to communicate with colleagues and create things together. The available tools are also quite diverse and simple to use, which makes it a very effective tool for collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the beginning, they used to offer more innovative tools, but now it feels like they’re just trying to force AI on us. I don’t find that very nice, because I’m not completely comfortable using AI for collaboration when I’m working in Miro.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allowed me to constructively and efficiently collaborate with more than 20 people. It is very effective.

Intuitive UX, But Can Be Laggy

  • April 30, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like using Miro because their templates are a standout feature for me, making the process much more efficient. I also appreciate how easy and intuitive their UX is, which makes the board quite user-friendly. The initial setup was quite easy, which was a big help in getting started quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the board becomes too laggy and hangs the entire laptop. There should be more boards, not just one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for brainstorming with its user-friendly UX and great templates. It's easy and intuitive, making collaboration smooth.

Effortless Workshops and Team Collaboration with Miro

  • April 30, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how simple and easy to use the platform is, and it's quite a clean one with a very clean user interface. I love the blank board with sticky notes for brainstorming, and there's also a timer which helps. The initial setup was so simple. I was able to get started within hours after being invited by a colleague who already had a board ready.
What do you dislike about the product?
Searching for boards or old files is a bit complicated for me. It would be great if there was, like, an AI chat box. Maybe there is, but I'm not sure.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to solve team blockers and conduct efficient workshops. Its features encourage team building.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro for making high-level diagrams and it's great for creating an understanding with diagram flow or sequence diagrams. It makes explaining to nontechnical people much easier. The MCP server of Miro is very good, and I like that I can connect with my LLMs and create there. Also, the initial setup doesn't take much time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Yeah. Like, sharing a board in Miro as an image format can be improved. But I think so.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to make high-level diagrams, simplifying understanding of codebase flows, even for non-technical people.

Colorful, Collaborative, but Access Challenges

  • April 29, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro for organizing JIRA tickets and having retros in my Software Engineering Scrum team. Miro solves the problem of not being able to clearly see and organize work in JIRA, and it provides an easy way to collaborate and share ideas. I like that Miro is colorful and expressive while also pragmatic in organizing and conveying info. It makes working with it fun, allows us to progressively close out work, think about future work, and improves collaboration. My team now prefers using Miro as an interface over JIRA.
What do you dislike about the product?
I always see the error that I need to request to join a team to get access to features, but I'm not sure who has to give it to me. I've been stuck like this for a while. Make it clear how I can follow up for access and with who. Allow more people to have the ability to give access, or just have more as default.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves the problem of organizing JIRA tickets and enhances collaboration in retros by making the process fun and expressive, while also being practical.

Miro’s Snappy, Easy-to-Use Infinite Board for Real-Time Collaboration

  • April 29, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro has an easy-to-use interface, is cloud-based, and makes it simple to map ideas on a board using a wide variety of templates, such as mind mapping. It’s a very functional application and offers a wide range of connectors. The board can be easily shared as a link, and access can be controlled (for example, read-only,view) It also has an infinite board and allows multiple users to collaborate at the same time. The miro app is very snappy and has no lag eve though mutiple users are working on the board
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, if the board has too many elements and multiple users are working on it at the same time, the board can take a while to load or to reflect the changes made by other users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me brainstorm, build project plans, and map out all the key details of a project. It also makes it easy for multiple users to collaborate while on a Teams call, with real-time updates made on the board that can be viewed by anyone who has access to the link. Sharing the dashboard is much easier too, because the link doesn’t need to be re-shared—once the link is created, any changes on the board are reflected for everyone in real time.
