Miro: Collaboration Made Easy with Interactive Tools

  • April 30, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Miro supports real-time collaboration, which is great for brainstorming. It's an excellent choice for creating prototypes and makes notes very interactive compared to using something like Apple Notes or Google Docs. I appreciate the extra features it offers, like running stand-ups, using timers, and the ability to hide and reveal cards, which helps in organizing team discussions efficiently. The library of templates is super great, and I enjoy exploring them. Using Miro has made orchestrating stand-ups more dynamic and interactive, and it's super efficient for brainstorming activities. It's very interactive and has many tools to help draw and convert ideas, making it superior for diagramming and other tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
When we keep on using Miro for a longer time, the dashboards become really heavy. So it can take really several long minutes for it to load, and it's especially important when you just join a meeting where you want to use Miro, and then you have to basically wait for everyone so the Miro loads.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for interactive notes and real-time collaboration, making brainstorming easier. It offers tools for organizing dynamic stand-ups and efficiently running brainstorming sessions.

Flexible UI, Strong Performance, and Great Value with a Helpful Miro Community

  • April 30, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
- The flexibility of the UI
- The performance and that almost all content types can be ingested or integrated (Jira etc.)
- The amount of space and depth it provides per user, besides a fix pricing level (price eficiency)
- The miro community which is a great help for supporting/using new features like AI
What do you dislike about the product?
The flexibility sometimes also lead to disorganization since you can always start a new canvas and there are no limitations/guidelines about structure.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can express my solution design in my field (IT) very well and demonstrate them to my customers
Also I can devide my topics into smaller pieces and sometimes also delegate but still keep the overview.

Intuitive and Collaborative, Yet Needs More Customization

  • April 30, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love using Miro for project planning, workshops, and reviewing UX designs with stakeholders. It significantly enhances collaboration by allowing multiple people to contribute their ideas simultaneously. I find it intuitive to use, which makes setting it up and inviting others to join very easy. Miro also makes creating information architectures straightforward, and it's particularly useful for demonstrating how webpages on a website interconnect, similar to a sitemap.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it was a bit more customizable, like Figma. I wish you could build components. I wish you could, for example, create a brand button style and easily put this style into various designs and create a UX design system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro enables collaboration with multiple people simultaneously, allowing everyone to contribute ideas. It's intuitive and easy for creating information architectures and linking webpages like a sitemap.

Effortless Collaboration with User-Friendly Design

  • April 30, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro as a whiteboard space for mapping and throwing ideas around, and it's great for planning all things design-related. It's a great collaborative tool that's really easy to use, and can be picked up instantly by anyone, making workshopping easy. I love that Miro allows me to see my ideas in one place. The ease of use stands out, as I can find or create a new board so easily and start adding ideas, sticky notes, and diagrams within seconds. I also enjoy the slick and simple UI, and the AI tool that helps summarize boards after a workshop.
Recently we've been using Claude to diagram straight into Miro too which has helped speed up initial setup phases for upcoming projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Perhaps an easy way to tidy up boards, or visualize groups/layers in a side panel. Sometimes items don't quite group as intended when using different frames. It's more when using post-it notes and then trying to rearrange afterwards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's an easy and fast to use mindmapping tool. As a team, we can work together fast and put together easy to understand userflows to share with our dev team. I also just use it for idea generation which can help when starting a new project and I don't want to jump straight into designing wireframes so I can get all my thoughts into one area.

nothing at this time
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for visualizing the problem space and giving leadership clear insights into our team vision.

Miro Makes System Design and Flowcharting Really easy for engineers.

  • April 29, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As a Senior Engineer, Miro really helped me to plan and design system flows, architectures, and make flow charts. Also, it can be shared with the team uisng miro.
What do you dislike about the product?
Every time we need to Zoom in/out. Sometimes it's difficult to find the correct diagram if I have many on one board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem that Miro solved for me is allowing me to design what I have on my mind. Miro contains every shape, and all the tools that I need for that.

Miro Makes Real-Time Collaboration and Brainstorming Effortless

  • April 28, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate how Miro enables teams to collaborate in real time on a single shared board. This makes brainstorming and planning much more efficient than doing the same work in platforms like Microsoft Teams. When needed, its AI features also help with quickly capturing ideas without having to enter everything manually. The range of pre-built templates for different workflows further boosts productivity and helps us get started faster. Integrations with tools like Google Sheets and Slack are especially useful because they let us pull in data directly without having to reformat it. Overall, Miro feels like a great collaboration platform, particularly from a UX and workflow perspective.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I’m working with large volumes of data, the board can occasionally show a bit of lag or briefly freeze. That said, it doesn’t happen often, and it hasn’t had a meaningful impact on overall usability.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It addresses the challenge of ineffective communication by offering a more seamless, structured environment for collaboration. Traditional tools such as Microsoft Teams don’t inherently support structured visual thinking without relying on additional tools. Miro brings these capabilities together in a single platform, which reduces the need to switch between multiple applications. As a result, once our team became familiar with what it can do, we increasingly adopted Miro as our primary collaboration tool.

Invaluable for Creative Strategy and Easy Collaboration

  • April 27, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like Miro's ability to support brainstorming and complex planning for branding and strategy. It's great how I can see both creative visuals and detailed strategic planning together, which helps in intertwining creative direction with strategy. The best part is having multiple ideas in a single project, allowing one board to cover all the work for a client. The ease of image embedding is a joy, and the initial setup was very easy and intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Whilst the UI is clean, sometimes it can be hard to make it look aesthetic easily. Some sort of feature (if not already available, easier to find/use) that enables on-brand visualisations and tidying up would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to intertwine creative visuals with detailed strategic planning in one view, streamlining my brainstorming and planning for personal branding and strategies.

Empowers Remote Collaboration Effortlessly

  • April 27, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find Miro easy to use and really clear, which helps me create the kind of vision I want on the screen. It's great for sharing with colleagues, and I particularly like the presenter function that allows me to follow what's happening on the board and see the part that others are working on. Miro is basically a collaboration tool for our international company, enabling us to work together despite being in different locations. The transition from using traditional pen and paper or whiteboards to this virtual digital whiteboard has been seamless. The initial setup for my team was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I end up zooming when I'm trying to move across the screen. Small simple things like that, which are probably more user error than anything else!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for tasks, project management, and documenting processes. It makes collaboration easy, letting my global team work together seamlessly on a virtual whiteboard. Sharing screens and following presenters on Miro boards is clear and simple.
