Invaluable for Workshops, Needs Better Facilitation Tools

  • February 16, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the flexibility of Miro and the built-in templates that let me work on multiple types of projects, from simple mind maps to more elaborate sessions with votes, timings, and breakouts. I also appreciate the add-ons and apps, especially the QR to Miro one, which helped me greatly by addressing a problem with remote participants. The marketplace of apps solves my needs, and during the initial setup, the Miro team supported us with webinars and upskilling internal ambassadors.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am coming from Mural, which was my previous tool, and there the facilitation tools were easier to handle, pretty straightforward to ask to be followed, to follow, to force the view, etc. I am not sure whether Miro can do that all. Maybe a dedicated menu with tools at hand or even keyboard shortcuts, offering the features needed at hand and allowing to focus on the conversation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro mainly for bridging people separated by location and timezone, enabling async work. The app marketplace, like the QR add-on, allows remote participants to engage easily without a laptop or registration, solving accessibility issues.

I like Miro's easy-to-use interface because it makes it simple to introduce new users, especially in workshop settings. It’s great for beginners but also offers advanced features for users with more experience. I appreciate how it helps connect many people to work together seamlessly, capturing and sorting ideas and information to refine solutions effectively.

Streamlined Workshops with Real-Time Collaboration

  • February 14, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro for discovery workshops, mapping workflows, and aligning stakeholders on scope and integrations. I like how in one session, I can capture ideas, organize them into a workflow, and leave with a board that everyone agrees on—process steps, owners, decisions, and integration points. It saves a lot of time by reducing misalignment and cutting down on follow-up meetings. Miro's real-time collaboration and frames/templates make it easy to keep workshops structured, share one clear source of truth, and get fast alignment even asynchronously. We switched to Miro for smoother real-time collaboration and easier stakeholder sharing. Miro feels faster for day-to-day workshops and offers a more intuitive experience for non-technical participants. The setup was quick—inviting users and creating boards took minutes, and the templates helped us start running workshops immediately with minimal training.
What do you dislike about the product?
On very large boards, performance can slow down a bit, and without strict structure (frames/naming), boards can get cluttered quickly. Better cleanup tools and lighter handling of huge boards would help. Maybe add a “cleanup mode” (auto-align/space items, straighten connectors, snap-to-grid, and remove duplicates).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to organize complex workflows and align stakeholders. It solves issues with scattered decisions, avoiding misinterpretation and rework. Its real-time collaboration and templates streamline workshops, saving time and reducing misalignment.

Versatile and User-Friendly Collaboration Tool

  • February 13, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like Miro for its ease of use and how it provides different ways of connecting different objects. I appreciate the sticky notes feature and the possibility to fold them to create different shapes. It's easy to get the right size of the letters and use it with a lot of people at the same time. I love that you can use it for trainings. The sticky notes are a simple way to add comments or write down whatever you want, and the different shapes help in easily creating process flows, marking different things depending on the task. It's a good visual tool. I also find the setup leads to a good user experience, making it easy to learn and adapt quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think what I miss is more templates for professional use and look. So there are some templates, but I would appreciate more templates and customization options for the templates. Also, a bit more ways to use it in a professional environment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves the problem of choosing different platforms for various tasks, offering everything in one place. It's a good visual tool ideal for creating process flows and marking tasks. Also, it simplifies adding comments and customizing visual elements like sticky notes.
