Flexible Tool with Room for Improvement

  • January 21, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love using Miro for all my projects, like mind mapping and planning business moves, and even for personal projects like creating a collage of car parts. The organization tools in Miro are great. I really enjoy the ability to add links to sticky notes, which I've been using a lot. It helps my ADHD brain map out everything in a simple way, making it easy to follow and understand. If I need to change something, I only have to adjust one sticky note instead of a whole file. I use Miro alongside my real estate managing software to share information with my team efficiently, which is wonderful for keeping everyone informed about the company's next move. The transition from Google Teams and WhatsApp group chats to Miro has been a huge upgrade. Setting up Miro was extremely easy, and once I got the hang of all its UI features and organization tools, I was amazed by how easy it was to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that I can only manage up to three projects on my free plan, though I think the paid version probably solves this and I'm planning to switch soon. Also, the sizing can be a bit confusing at times. I really wish there was a dark mode because either I can't see the black components on my board with a dark background, or it's hard on my eyes since I mostly work at night.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to plan projects and organize my ideas, which solves my problem of losing random files on my computer and reducing clutter on my desk.

Miro is one of the best collaborative tool for teams requiring real-time presentations.

  • January 21, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Miro makes it feel easy and natural to bring ideas to life visually. It’s like having an endless whiteboard where everyone can jump in. I do a lot of workshops for clients in advertising, and Miro helps me collaborate in real-time, note taking on the Miro Board becomes so much more easier because anyone can do it in real time. I use it almost everyday.
What do you dislike about the product?
The design aspects are a little limited. The movement of the frames can be hard to navigate and one might accidentally move a whole bunch of stuff without meaning to. It's a little tricky to use, not as seamless as other softwares, but it can export the board quite well for other softwares.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Real-time note taking is a primary use-case for me. Imagine a whiteboard on which everyone can collaborate on at the same time. Usually, when you have to take live notes on the screen itself, you'll have to exit the slideshow, take a note and then enter the slideshow mode again. That botches the customer experience as I conduct multiple workshops with clients in-person. Miro completely eliminates this issue.

Miro: Easy, Evolving Collaboration Hub for Workshops, Delivery, and Partners

  • January 20, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is easy to access for users across the organisation from senior stakeholders through to the power users across the team. There are numerous useful templates and the app does seem to evolve with new features regularly.
It is now the default for collaboration across lots of different use cases - particularly useful for workshops obviously but as a valuable resource across delivery of software and organisational change.
We also find that Miro is great for working with suppliers and partners.
What do you dislike about the product?
As with any app which continues to evolve it's sometime difficult to keep on top of improvements.
I sometimes find that I lose boards so an improved management capability for different boards would be useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a collaboration space for remote workers that allow us to keep in touch across multiple teams .

It's also helping us roadmap across our product development and , where needed deep dive into customer journey mapping.

Simple, Cool, and One of the Best Visual Thinking Tools

What do you like best about the product?
It’s simple and cool to use, and it’s one of the best tools for a visual thinking aid.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found anything I dislike. Maybe the main dashboard could be set up cleaner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps solve the problem of siloed thinking in teams and information living in people’s heads. It allows teams to illustrate their thinking in logical steps, which opens the door to better collaboration and better results.

Visual Mapping Made Easy with Miro

  • January 19, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro to create workflows and prototypes, and it makes it easy for stakeholders to understand complex ideas through visual maps rather than documents. It's a breeze to use for system diagrams, business process diagrams, and flowcharts, giving me the flexibility to detail using sticky notes and other tools. I love the preselected set of templates in Miro, which almost addresses all the use cases I need. The collaboration feature is a game changer, allowing multiple people in the organization to work on a single board. It reduces turnaround times and is ideal for asynchronous work, removing the dependency on many meetings. The templates for Roadmap Planning and Tracking are particularly useful for keeping the business updated and everyone in the loop on what is planned, ongoing, or required. The onboarding was easy and buttery, making me quickly familiar with the tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Support for mermaid scripting, and suggesting improvements to boards to make them more easy to understand were things I would have loved to have. It would have made it amazing. Somewhere I also like the whimsical UI as it feels a bit easier to use over Miro sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for creating workflows and prototypes, simplifying stakeholder communication. It helps with rapid system mapping, presentations, and offers collaboration on a single board, reducing meeting dependency.

Efficient Workflow with Room for Access Control Improvement

  • January 19, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Miro is easy to use and offers some templates that I can utilize. This means I don't have to spend too much time creating everything from scratch, which saves me a lot of time, especially at the very beginning. Setting up Miro was pretty straightforward, and having used it in my previous job, I didn't encounter any issues. I also appreciate how it makes collaboration more transparent and efficient by allowing team members to leave comments and track changes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I guess sometimes our access control is a bit tricky. I don't know if anyone makes any changes or if they misclick, my file, and then some of the things get removed. I don't know how to keep track of all the changes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Miro increases transparency and efficiency by letting my team note details and leave comments easily, streamlining our workflow.

Collaborative Excellence with Seamless Integration

  • January 17, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like using Miro for AWS Cloud Architectural Designs and team collaborative working sessions. The integration with Jira is fantastic, especially the sticky note feature that lets us automatically create Jira tickets. It saves us time and makes our workflow more efficient as we're able to experience the advantages of Miro without duplicating effort in Jira. I also like that Miro brings many people together in a single place and allows for collaboration on a virtually endless board. It's great that other team members are familiar with Miro too, which makes teamwork smoother. Also, the initial setup of Miro was very easy for our team.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. Continue expanding on your DevOps-related integrations, your Jira integrations and Agile/SAFE framework integrations
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to visualize ideas, allowing multiple people to collaborate seamlessly. The board's endless space and Jira integration save time and enhance collaboration, so we don't need to duplicate work.

Efficient Workflow Visualization with Real-Time Collaboration

  • January 16, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro for building product roadmaps, creating process flow diagrams, and making site maps of our applications. Miro simplifies the complex process of mapping out timelines and dependencies when I'm constructing a roadmap that encompasses 20+ resources. The ability to collaborate in real time with my coworkers, from anywhere in the world, is also invaluable. I like most how easy it is to build out complex workflows with simple drag and drop actions, which is critical to building powerful visualizations to confirm requirements. When I'm running a meeting to define business or technical requirements, the entire group of attendees can make live updates to process flows to help everyone achieve a shared understanding. This collaboration is high-value, driving efficiency in the meeting when merely using words would take 5 times as long.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love if the AI function could better build process flows without needing as much handholding and explicit instruction from me. I understand this isn't an easy thing to do, but improving this function would be a powerful efficiency driver for me and my team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro simplifies the complex process of creating roadmaps and dependencies involving 20+ resources. Real-time collaboration is invaluable, allowing live updates during meetings to achieve shared understanding and efficiency. Its drag-and-drop feature makes building complex workflows easy, aiding in visualizing and confirming requirements.
