Robust Collaboration, Seamless Integration

  • January 14, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find group editing in Miro brilliant and the team collaboration works great for us. I appreciate the ready formats and shapes, which make my work easier. I like the customizable widgets and diagramming tools, as they help me create a working space that's tuned for my daily use. Integration with Jira and Confluence is smooth, enhancing our collaboration. Switching from Figma, I find collaboration in Miro more effective and easy to use. The initial setup was very easy, and the login process through email saves me from the hassle of managing passwords. If large team collaboration is essential, I'd rate Miro as a 9 or even 10.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tables are not working correctly, and tools for scrum and Kanban are still too far from being really convenient. Adding new rows is sometimes a big problem as tables sometimes get stuck, and there is no way to scale anymore. Kanban boards and cards have no way to track the progress and evaluate the weight of the cards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for process descriptions, graphics, charts, and wireframing. Group editing and team collaboration are excellent, and the ready formats and customizable widgets make it easy to create a personalized workspace.

Visualize and Collaborate Effortlessly, Despite UI Niggles

  • January 14, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that there are a lot of easy ways to access logos for architecture diagrams and that the board is open spaced. It's not restrictive, meaning I can have multiple drafts going for a while, which means I don't have to commit to anything, making my speed in design creation much faster. The initial setup of Miro is quite easy to begin use, even though my team was already using it.
What do you dislike about the product?
UI can be a bit finicky. And not intuitive. Icons don't mean what you think they do. I can't think of any specific examples but things like selecting the entire board it's not very easy to tell. my team has run into issues of accidentally locking the board a few times
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me visualize my thoughts, makes design connections, and assists my team with agile ceremonies. It allows me to have multiple drafts without commitment, speeding up design creation.

The Pocket Whiteboard I needed

  • January 13, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy the flexibility it brings on a daily basis. For someone like me who thinks by drawing and taking notes, brainstorming collaboratively with others in an online world (professional and personal) is made easier with Miro.
It's very easy to create diagrams, take notes and organize documentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Perhaps more custom text editing options, especially inside sticky notes. Sometimes we want to highlight certain text within the rest of the text and coloring and size, for example is exclusive to the object, rather the highlighted text.
Doesn't prevent anyone from doing it anyway with alternatives, it would just be more convenient sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is bringing people separated by distance together almost in the same way being physically together would. We use Miro extensively for working collaboratively and putting many minds together to reach solutions, but also to have fun, as we use it for many team building activities or onboarding someone new.

Empowers Participatory Decision-Making with Ease

  • January 13, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like Miro because it's easy to use and flexible. It allows for easy group participation, which is great for my job as I involve people and foster participatory decision-making. Miro helps me level the playing field among workshop participants and give everyone a voice. I also appreciate that it's useful for mapping since it's free form and open with enough tools to give it structure. Additionally, it can involve lots of people, making it a fantastic tool for facilitating agile ceremonies, presentations, and learning experiences.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the templates are too complicated. Whenever I use a template, they come full of features I don't need and I end up having to delete all the stuff I don't want. It's hard to know what value they add, especially with features I'm not familiar with. This journey could be improved, perhaps by making it more modular.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro allows for easy group participation, leveling the playing field in workshops, and offers enough tools for structured mapping. It's easy to use, flexible, and helps involve lots of people, which is crucial for fostering participatory decision-making.

  • January 13, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro for participatory sessions at work and find it easy to use. I appreciate the visual presentation of teamwork and especially like that you can save everything in PDF format. I also enjoy the capacity to visualize any design I imagine. The initial setup was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to have access to more templates, specifically templates with shapes and arrows for showing connections, mainly related to circular economy and systems innovation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for visual presentation of team work; it's easy to use and lets me visualize any design I imagine.

Essential Collaboration Platform with Powerful AI and Flexibility

  • January 12, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro has become an essential part of my daily workflow at work. Initially, I used it simply as a digital whiteboard for brainstorming, but over time it has grown into a comprehensive platform for collaboration and creative thinking. Now, I rely on it for everything from ideation and solution architecture to design, documentation, workshops, retrospectives, and sprint planning.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro can become sluggish and laggy as boards grow in terms of number of objects. The Mac app can also be sluggish after a number of opened tabs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of Miro’s greatest strengths is its flexibility. I use it for a wide range of tasks, including early-stage ideation and brainstorming, creating architecture and solution design diagrams, facilitating workshops and retrospectives, sprint planning, story mapping, as well as lightweight documentation and knowledge sharing. Rather than switching between several different tools, Miro offers a shared canvas that adapts seamlessly to my various workflows.

Miro also excels at enabling real-time collaboration within my team. Multiple users can contribute at the same time, and there is excellent support for asynchronous collaboration through features like comments, notes, and frames. I frequently rely on Miro's robust template library for common activities such as retrospectives, journey mapping, architecture diagrams, and brainstorming sessions. I also appreciate its extensive integration options and how simple it is to import and export artifacts.

Recently, the AI mode has become one of my favorite features. With just a bit of prompting, I can quickly bootstrap boards from scratch, generate structured outlines, diagrams, or workshop flows, and transform vague ideas into something concrete in no time.

A better way than the old Microsoft diagrams for boxes and arrows.

  • January 12, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Honestly, the greatest advantage I've found is that I don't have to install it on all of our laptops like we did with the previous tool. Once I share the link with each person they can go ahead and arrange the sticky notes as needed. And the fact that it saves automatically has also been helpful since my laptop battery is about to die.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the connection arrows are very frustrating as they will snap to the wrong side of the box and I will have to go into an extreme level of detail (i.e. zoom in at 400%) in order to locate the tiny dot that connects the arrow to the box so that I can move it. At times the entire board becomes slow and unresponsive because there are too many large images/screenshots that were pasted onto the board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My company uses this product to draw pictures of our servers, because prior to this method, we would email each other files back and forth and no one knew which file was the most current. Now, I simply create the flowchart on the board and if someone decides to delete it, that is their responsibility. Also, this allows us to avoid having team members walk to my desk to ask about the operation of the systems we design.
