Miro usage from a energy professional utilising agile ways of working

  • January 06, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro has several benefits that I both utilise or have engaged with. First I utilise miro to plan out my quarters work. Currently, I work in an agile way of working where our quarters are broken down into 2 week sprints. THis requires a lot of pre planning sessions where we use Miro to plot our initiatives and how we will achieve them. I likely use Miro at least weekly however have often used it daily. Generally Miro is easy to implement into our processes. Since using Miro it has gone through several updaes. Initially I was not a fan of the system however it has greatly improved and has become a useful tool in my arsenal. I have not had to experience using the customer support so cannot comment on this, however this in itself would be a testement to Miro's reliability. The software is also easy to integrate via the useful AI tools. I have used this to plot out flow charts whcih has saved time and eliminated the tedious work of plotting out the arrows and boxes. This has enabled me to focus my time on refining the content and not have to worry so much on the formatting.
What do you dislike about the product?
My main dislike about miro is some of the mouse inputs. Having to use the right hand button rather the initiutive left to click and drag takes some time to readjust too. This does not majorly disprute my work however is an annoyance as this goes against most other conventional input controls.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is solving several problems. First it allows me a space to strategise and develop my initiatives for my work and upcoming sprints. Second it allows me to create effective flow charts which create easy to use visuals for stakeholders so they understand what our agents decision making process is for processes. Finally the utilisation of the AI is a great addition that helps cut out the tedious formatting allowing me to focus on delivering the best content possible.

Perfect for Academic Collaboration

  • January 06, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love Miro for its free access and ease of use, which is very convenient for university courses. I also appreciate the large number of possible collaborators, which is valuable for working with many people without worrying about limits, thus avoiding leaving people out or having to find paid alternatives.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it would be nice to be able to change the text size in the post-its to have similar post-it sizes even if we don't write the same thing in them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro facilitates document sharing and accommodates a large number of collaborators, which is convenient for university and large projects, without limits or additional cost.

A powerful board tool that allows for information aggregation and overview

  • January 06, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I think it's great that Miro consolidates project materials in one place, allowing you to view the entire picture from a bird's-eye view. By effectively plotting information on a very large board, you can search for detailed information or grasp an overview from the whole, allowing you to view information from various perspectives depending on the granularity of the information. I also find it convenient that it integrates with Atlassian's Confluence and Jira, as well as GWS Drive, making it easy to view tickets and knowledge clearly on Miro.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the initial setup of Miro a bit challenging. To adequately design confidentiality, some level of user-side control is necessary for things like team formation, board sharing permissions, and folder creation criteria, and I feel that education in these areas is needed. Additionally, I think it would be beneficial to have a training plan like an experiential tutorial on Miro's best practices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is great for consolidating project materials in one place and allowing you to view the whole picture. You can view information from various perspectives depending on the granularity of the information, making it easier to grasp the overall project information.

Miro is easy to use and its infinite whiteboard helps me organize the workflow well, which I find very useful for organizing my social media content. Additionally, I like the ability to organize ideas and make them look nice, which makes the creative process more enjoyable.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to have an AI chat that can be managed by idea or table and that stays there with the information to consult later, something like what is achieved with Poppy AI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to organize my social media content. The infinite board helps me organize the work well. It is easy to use and allows me to organize ideas beautifully.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like Miro for its live-time collaboration feature. It allows all members of my team to collaborate on it at once, which is really helpful for communication. Also, the initial setup of Miro was easy, and on a scale from 1 to 10, I would rate my likelihood to recommend it as a 9.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it challenging to use the text features because it's hard to make it look pretty. I think Miro could benefit from a better GUI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for communication, where its live-time collaboration allows my team to work together simultaneously.

What do you like best about the product?
I like Miro's clean UI that doesn't really get in the way, making it easy to share. It also gets the job done effectively. Additionally, the initial setup was easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think load time could be improved. I think the way in which entities point to each other can sometimes be wonky.

I use Miro for sharing system architecture diagrams with coworkers remotely, async. I appreciate its clean UI that's easy to share and not really in the way.

Enhances Team Collaboration with Room for Improvement

  • January 05, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Miro helps me flow and organize my thoughts without having to worry about drawing shapes and connecting lines like in a traditional design tool. It just works. The opinionated defaults are great; with just a click, I can add another rectangle connected with an arrow, maintaining the same styling, which makes the experience smoother. I've been using Miro for years, and the initial setup was good with nothing to complain about.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro components aren’t particularly beautiful by default. While this is fine for most use cases, I’d love to see stronger visual defaults out of the box. Tables can also be a bit difficult to work with at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me organize and structure my thinking visually, brainstorm with teammates, and collaborate. The simple, opinionated defaults remove a lot of overhead and make it easy to focus on ideas rather than execution.

Essential Tool for Brainstorming and Organization

  • January 05, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can zoom out as much as I need to, so I don't feel constrained at the start to know what format I want to be working in. It's easy to use, which makes it easy to see what I'm working on at a glance. The initial setup was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I sometimes get Miro confused with Milanote and Mural since they all start with 'M'. Not sure if there's a widget or something that could integrate with other tools I use to remind me it's there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me get ideas out of my head and organize them into logical categories. I like that I can zoom out to see everything at a glance, making it easy to work without feeling constrained, and the interface is easy to use.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some editing functions are a bit clunking and navigation can be tedious on large boards

Effortless Diagram Creation with Some Learning Curve

  • January 05, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of making the graphical interface on Miro, especially how easy it is to snap things around and reposition them. It really saves me time at an associate level. Shifting things, adjusting diagrams, or sharing copies often takes a large part of my day, so Miro helps me focus more on my other work.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think one area that could be improved is simplifying the interface for making graphical interfaces, as there are many features meant for other purposes. I'd appreciate simpler options that don't require engaging with more complicated tools. I just haven't had the time to learn and use Miro to its full capacity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to make flowcharts and strategy diagrams that convey complex processes visually, especially useful in text-heavy fields like legal. It simplifies graphic interface creation, saving me time to focus on other tasks.
