Miro a very helpful visualizing tool

  • December 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to create flow by just by clicking on the dot below the shape, it helps create flow charts very quickly, and it give mulitple option of different shape symbolizing differnt type of decision points.
What do you dislike about the product?
That quality when an image of a flowchart is copied is a bit less when the size of the flowchart is enormous, making it less readable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping me and my team collaborate quickly on various ideas so the flow of the process is standardized from the very beginning.

Collaborative visual diagramming for teams

  • December 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's a well designed and user-friendly platform for all kinds of visual diagrams, flowcharts, decision trees, mind maps etc...
It's main strength is the open, collaborative canvas where you can work and design in real-time with other users.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a free user, you quickly bump against the subscription requirements. For actual "graphs" with real connectivity, the diagrams appear to be more visual than exact in nature. When you want to recover the diagram in another context, options are a bit limited.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In a recent project, we used Miro for developing the user journeys, during event storming sessions and also to model business logic and decision trees.

Essential Tool for Collaborative Clarity

  • December 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro as a canvas combined in real time to plan with my team. I appreciate how Miro helps us with hybrid team representation, especially in engineering and DevOps, to show what we are building. It helps product managers and designers explain features simply, and it's crucial for startups to make every member understand what we are building. It's very helpful for remote collaboration, basically replacing the feeling of being in the same room with a physical whiteboard. Miro spreads across documents, chats, messages, and screenshots, which improves the clarity of our projects and helps others to understand them. The learning curve is very easy, and it's intuitive for first-time users. Also, the initial setup was pretty easy, and we didn't face any trouble.
What do you dislike about the product?
Managing team members within Miro can become hectic and feels messy. Whiteboard visibility and ownership aren't clear when many members can write on the board. Permissions are board-centric, making access management per board cumbersome. It's difficult to track external collaboration like external branches, expiry dates, and guest access. The workspace-level guest audit to dashboard needs improvement. There's limited activity and accountability insight, such as who invited whom and who changed permissions, which isn't visible on the board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro as a canvas for real-time planning. It solves our problem of explaining and collaborating with images and objects online, improving project clarity. It's great for remote collaboration and feels like we're in the same room with a physical whiteboard.

Streamlined Task Management with User-Friendly UI

  • December 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like Miro's board functionality, which is great for noting all tasks and maintaining progress reports. The user-friendly and simple UI is extremely easy to learn, even in a short period of time. The UI is built with simplicity and efficiency in mind, unlike competitors like Jira. Miro is simple and quick, which helps reduce our development times and increase efficiency. The setup of Miro was straightforward and easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
As of now it is a little feature lacking, doesn't really offer a ton of features. One feature I'd really appreciate was an AI tool to map all the tasks automatically so that we don't manually have to design a development sprint or other such task boards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to organize tasks and progress reports, simplifying task management by centralizing our work in one place. It reduces our development times and increases efficiency with its simple UI, unlike previous tools like Jira, which were too complicated.

Infinite Canvas and Seamless Diagrams, Needs Better Documentation

  • December 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro to make process flow diagrams and product road maps, which are great for customer demos and explaining user journeys to clients. The infinite canvas is pretty cool because I can have everything on a literally one meter board, so I don't have to go digging around to find what I need. It's easy to pull up on Safari or Chrome, and I only have to maintain one file. Miro’s Kanban board is easier to maintain, and the initial setup was really good, quite seamless without being too complicated.
What do you dislike about the product?
Documentation on Miro is not good, so I still have to use Notion or Google Docs. There's a new feature for documentation, but when I copy paste anything into that, the formatting is no good. I really wish Miro has a game changer of bullet points with sub bullets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Miro great for making process flow diagrams and product road maps, which can be tricky with other software. Its infinite canvas and easy Kanban board maintenance save me time by keeping everything accessible and organized.

Using Miro as an on-line training tool can help support engagement.

  • December 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Wonderful tool for online training for both the presenter and the participant. Ability to collaborate in real time. Can share the screen on Zoom and/or have participants go to the board directly. Two trainers can also collaborate in developing the content. Seems like a short learning curve for participants to use. Hint: have them do something Miro before they start the training (i.e. introduce themselves) to get used to the locations of the various features.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be a challenge to find yourself and your work if you are not the Miro host/owner. Using the right mouse key to paramount but the board can be so large with a bigger group that it's hard to find things. Using the "come to me" feature can help gather everyone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Student or trainee engagement online - Miro helps to get everyone on board using a common tool.

Collaborative and Intuitive for Team Diagrams

  • December 19, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro for planning out diagrams for IT processes and I like that it helps everyone on the team collaborate in a visual way. I like that it has live collaboration and support for smart boards, which is really beneficial. In meetings, I can edit and see more of my Miro boards on the smart board while presenting. The initial setup was fairly simple, and I had no major complaints.
What do you dislike about the product?
From an IT Admin perspective, account deprovisioning is very limited and there's no way to remove someone's license via the SCIM or admin API.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to help the team collaborate visually when planning IT process diagrams. I like the live collaboration and smart board support, which makes meetings more interactive by editing and displaying boards in real-time.

Seamless Real-Time Collaboration with Flexible Canvas Solutions

  • December 19, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love using Miro for collaborative brainstorming and visual planning. It supports real-time collaboration so naturally, letting multiple people jump into the same board to share ideas and iterate instantly, making discussions much more productive than with static docs or slides. The flexible canvas is another highlight, allowing me to start with rough sketches or sticky notes and evolve them into detailed system diagrams or workflows without losing continuity. I appreciate the rich template library and smooth integrations with tools like Jira and Confluence, which help me go from ideas to execution without friction. Miro also brilliantly solves collaboration and clarity issues, especially when working remotely or with cross-functional teams, by providing a shared visual space that enhances alignment and reduces miscommunication. The initial setup was easy, with team members able to start using it right away, thanks to intuitive features and ready-made templates that mitigate the learning curve.
What do you dislike about the product?
One area where Miro could improve is performance on very large boards. When boards become heavy with many objects, images, or long histories, they can feel a bit sluggish, especially during real-time collaboration. Another challenge is organization and governance at scale. With many boards and contributors, it can be harder to enforce structure, naming conventions, or access controls without additional discipline from the team. Lastly, while the feature set is rich, advanced features can feel overwhelming for new users. A more guided onboarding or simpler modes for beginners would make it easier for teams to adopt Miro quickly and use it effectively from day one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves collaboration and clarity issues in remote and cross-functional teams, turning scattered documents into a shared visual space. It structures complex ideas, reduces miscommunication, speeds up decision-making, and keeps teams aligned throughout projects.
