Stunning way to collate and curate visual ideas
What do you like best about the product?
I love the limitless canvas, the easy way to annotate thoughts with stickie notes and the ability to collaborate in real time with my design team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish we could load our own fonts to give a better brand experience for our clients. Sometimes when I try to add a URL it just adds the text, not the linked image card.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having project inspiration including images, words and ideas all in one place. Our processes of brainstorming, mind mapping, and brand workshops have all been streamlined.
Incredible tool for logging projects and planning
What do you like best about the product?
Colors, ease of use, and especially the infinite of the canvas. Also how well it responds to hand writing
What do you dislike about the product?
A little bit of the tightness of the objects, they are not as customizable as the whole idea of the board. For example, the Gant is too square
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a developer, so every milestone or task is logged in each client's miro board as a timeline. I put there the requirements, the solution, a link to the video and screenshots, so every week, both them and I are aware of where we are at any point.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use the integration with g-calendar, it is great for having everybody in the same page!
As a student, I have used Miro to learn about Project Management process and tools.
What do you like best about the product?
I loved the UI and the easy access to all the features on the Miro app. The Mind map, creating kanban board, creating a work breakdown structure, all was possible through the Miro app.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot export the data into a report-friendly format for presentation, which could be allowed in the trial version. Also, sometimes the navigation across boards isn't of the correct magnification and hence causes some issues while viewing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a student in the Digital Project Management field of study, Miro is useful for case studies, reporting, Gantt Chart preparation, and management planning activities.
Best witeboard for collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I linke the most the huge collection of templates, the poll and the timer. The Smart Meeting is in beta at this moment, but it's looks great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Fore really big board, with several thousands objects, it is a little bit slow to navigate, like in the TED template.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm using Miro to make strategic planning , workshops and training.

I would quit my job and go to work for Miro if I could (not really but you get the gist)
What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact that the board is infinite and I don't have to tell the system how big to make it as some competition does (won't mention names...). I love all the options in the toolbar on the left. I can't think of any other I would add. I love that you can page through presentations, documents, reports. I love bulk sticky notes and using Excel to add them. I love the navigation map on the bottom left and the frame's navigation pane. I love the alignment, group, and lock options when adding objects. I love using my mouse's scroll wheel to zoom in and out (Sketch, Adobe, please adopt!) I love right-clicking to get the hand tool to navigate. I love the templates and the huge community that has contributed to the templates. People are so clever and talented. I love being able to make numbered and bulleted lists. I love the font choices but would love even more. Tee hee. I love the relatively shallow learning curve. It doesn't take long to teach colleagues how to use it, though I find them somewhat reluctant to use it. WHY?!
What do you dislike about the product?
If I don't lock certain objects, participants, or myself will move them. Also, when I open a card, the "X" to close it is OUTSIDE the card. I often miss it. I would prefer to have it black inside the card. I also wish that the mind map had a floating topic category that I could add to a section.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has worked as a mind map for me allowing me to dump all my ideas in one place and often share them with others. It has been GREAT for doing remote workshops. It helps me with planning and gathering important documentation in one place that I can then share with teams.
Amazing tool Miro
What do you like best about the product?
I like the way we can collaborate to finish any activity on Miro.
I use Miro to collaborate with both designers and stakeholders. I also use it to showcase my work on case study.

What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot recollect anything that I dislike about Miro.
I had actually faced an issue once for copying data from excel to sticky notes, later I just googled it and could do it instantly.

Miro is a blessing in disguise. Once you start using the tool you will love it.
Great for Online Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro to structure my thoughts in terms of complex problem solving and as a conversation starter with my team members. For example, when I need to compile information about one business stakeholder that I am dealing with, I use Miro to compile all information regarding their business objective, product portfolios, up to the current user journey in various touchpoints that we currently offer to our clients. Allows easy collaboration between team members, especially in conference workshops where one person will share their screen and others populate the board. Usually, this will include the use of the post its. I really like the functionality provided when embedding web pages, copying and pasting URLs, and being provided with easy-to-refer-to snippets of the page content. This is usually helpful in generative exploration and brainstorming.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro is not suitable for working on documents or anything that might require hard copies or prints later since the free version does not allow high-quality export to pdf. Also, it needs high-speed internet to function properly. In terms of where it struggles as well, Miro cannot handle large amounts of files being uploaded from multiple locations at once. Ultimately, its best suited for smaller group collaboration. There are limited customization capabilities with elements such as post-it notes. Although this can be helpful when working quickly, I often find for big projects I cannot personalize the elements enough which, for me, negatively impacts my experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is especially useful for virtual teams and those in different time zones since team members can add, update, and edit the board at different times. This is less useful as a structured planning tool since it lacks that kind of imposed structure and is harder to search than some of those planning tools. Recommended for projects at the stage where high levels of collaboration and brainstorming are needed.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think using miro is a great opportunity for keeping everything in one place. I was recommended Miro by a colleague and would do the same for anyone who is considering using it. It offers amazing opportunity for keeping information in one place and allowing a team to stay organized.
easy to use and powerful
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to make beautiful illustrations
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is a bit slow. Generally, this happens when I have a lot going on on my computer
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work in Product Analytics, so storytelling is vital. Having a tool that allows me to draw and support insights/ideas makes my storytelling much better. The problem that Miro solves is that it is challenging to communicate with stakeholders, especially in complex topics such as user behavior; having visual representations helps this process
An incredible tool
What do you like best about the product?
The simple way it has helped us as a team to stay connected with visual means. That was becoming a lost art during the pandemic, and Miro has helped us visualise our work in ways that are, at times, better than using a whiteboard or a physical wall.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were better ways to organise the Miro boards across the teams. As an organisation, a few different groups use the board, and our work is bunched together in a list. Folders, or Sub-areas of some kind, would help other teams (think, Web, iOS, Android, Big Screen) easily organise. Currently, we name work with titles to find them easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can quickly group our thoughts visually in a way we couldn't before. The templates, tools, and simple UI have helped simplify our work across the organisation.
Fast Secure & Reliable!
What do you like best about the product?
I find Miro easy to use, and the support from their academy, blogs & community is outstanding! It was easy for me to quickly come up to speed to start running virtual workshops in just Miro or by using Miro as an App in Ms Teams and Zoom. One of the key features that keep me using Miro is the secure nature of the Miro platform. I work with enterprise organisations that are very security conscious and restrictive with external links, and the Miro platform meets these strict requirements.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found a specific issue or feature with Miro that I dislike. For me, it is just continuing to get up to speed with all the features. The only complaint I have with the consultancy plan is that it does not have any free consultant seats like their main competitor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a facilitator, and I run critical thinking workshops & facilitation of major incidents & problems daily. Miro provides an effortless and interactive way of guiding people's thinking and allowing effective collaboration. Miro also enabled me to create templates that are less complicated and visually pleasing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are after a collaborative platform that is secure, easy to use, has excellent support, a huge template library, a vast community for additional support and even more templates, then I highly recommend Miro.
