What do you dislike about the product?
- Well, there are no significant drawbacks, but I would have liked to have a lock feature for a selected option (for example, lock in the "arrow" selection so that I can easily re-use it).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been using Miro primarily for synthesizing my research data (affinity diagrams, mindmaps, etc.) and sharing these with my colleagues. The flexibility and ease of using visual elements made it easier to create better presentations. I also found this as a central tool when it comes to collaborative decision-making in my organization.
Great tool for team collaboration!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the diverse set of functions that the tool offers. It is very simple to understand and navigate through it, and it is highly useful on a daily basis. The pre-filled templates are a great tool to visualize information for a wider team.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike about this product is the limited number of boards that could be created per account. It could be great if the trial version involves more features to make people more hooked on using the tool. One other function that could be great to have in miro is the file size converter, for example, to PDF files when downloading frames, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using Miro for several reasons. One is to present product problem statements to the team. Second, creating competitor's analysis on different topics. It has excellent pre-filled templates that facilitate visualization and efforts.
Easy to use, fun collaborative tool for both trainers and trainees alike
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, visually appealing, fun way to engage everyone, trainers and trainees alike, with MS Teams. Love the Miro Community and templates! Very helpful. HUGE thumbs up.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very occasionally, connection issues with Miro cloud. A simple re-start of app usually solves the issue. But a heads-up a couple of days prior to any server upgrade/maintenance issues will be useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Brainstorm sessions, Discussion groups in teams and breakout teams,and I also use the boards as my collaborative tools during my coaching sessions. It's a winner! Every session has been engaging and a success!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's the easiest collaborative whiteboard I've used so far. Best to try it out via the free plan!
I love Miro because it makes you feel like you're in the same room with participants!
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is great for running scrum meetings. I love tools, like the timer, dot voting, sticky notes, adding images, etc. Seeing what your participants are doing live also makes it way easier to facilitate sessions remotely.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot say that there is a single thing I dislike about Miro. At the moment I am quite satisfied with the features. New features such as dot voting could use a little enhancement here and there to make it more engaging (perhaps by adding music).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has been difficult to facilitate discussions over distances by using more static tools such as Notion or Google Docs. Miro adds a spatial element to the screen and allows our team to work on a collective board, but not necessarily in linear order. We can move things around freely, re-organize our ideas and pretend we are in the same room.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It might be slightly tricky for first-time users who aren't familiar with design tools to begin to use Miro. If you already know how to use tools like Figma then you will know the shortcuts that make it easier to navigate the interface.
It made my work as UX designer much more fun and effective.
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to create boards that collect all insights and so being able to have both an overview and work on details is great. Apart from that, Miro is so much fun to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't experienced anything yet. Even the performance is ok. Maybe the fact that collaborating with people that do not have a full license got more difficult since day passes were cancelled.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating user flows is quick, easy and fun. I also do small sketches, either using the wireframe library or my digital pen. We also do lots of workshops, e.g. for collecting knowledge or ideation.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take any topic you are currently working on, maybe one that gives you headaches, and try to solve it using the great features Miro offers. Just try to use it and let your thoughts flow.
Making Online Work More Efficient
What do you like best about the product?
Working collaboratively on MIRO became a pleasure. All my workshops with outside clients are lead with MIRO. And my clients love it. It makes us look good by making them discover a new tool, and it allows them to take an active part in the workshop. And they come back to it via a shared link any time they want. The preparation of the workshops is also easier as we can make a presentation out of the workshop's materials. Great time saver. Finally, we've also started using the video call tool for internal use, making the work within my team efficient and precise.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main pain point from my point of view is the review system. It'd be great to have some track changes. We ofter review with my teams our workshop's material with post-its, but it's not the most elegant way. Another nice feature missing is the copy/paste of formats (like on word).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm solving interactive online workshops challenges. It allows me to lead essential workshops for our clients and keep track of their comments, and also will enable them to participate more easily. It allowed to gain new clients and sell more services. Internally we've saved a lot of time by duplicating workshop structures and adapting them to our clients.

What do you dislike about the product?
-There is no possibility to create more folders under a board or a project;
- There is No possibility to have a verisoning of Boards/Projects in order to freeze the contents;
- Limited document management.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As Miro administrator and Service Designer for my Company I proposed to use Miro in order to:
- Avoid contents sharing (with huge size) via Mail or others;
- Having a visual approach and encourage creativity during my workshop by involving all stakeholders from defferent teams;
- Having in one single board all information we need to design and prototype new product/services;
- Easy sharing and collaborative way of work remotely

When you use it, the first question is: how have i done so far without this?
Excellent tool for team work in the new normal
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is pretty much and literally endless in terms of what you can do with it. Be it for organizing your own individual work, time and mind, to run sessions with your team or a very large group of people, Miro has the tool set you need to get organized – and to have fun doing it!
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface very much mimics reality, which at times also means that what you create is not always very pretty and polished. In a way that is great and supports a certain agile culture, but sometimes it can look a bit uninspiring, too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Almost everything, really. I use it to structure my own mind and schedule. For brainstorming, ideation, product conceptualization in the team. For scrum ceremonies. And for larger workshops that bring together people from different teams and professional backgrounds.
Tool for a wide range of tasks
What do you like best about the product?
Clear interface with the easiest and very quickly navigation.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not obvious how to organize work when using multiple accounts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing and structuring parts of the project(s) with lots of graphics. A quick search for the necessary information, the possibility of notes and sharing comments.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
pay attention to the Miro hints, they can be very useful not only for a quick start.
Easy interface to learn and collaborate with various tools
What do you like best about the product?
It's an easy tool to learn and maneuver through and not complicated with too many commands to remember. It's so easy to set up the contents on the board with the various tools made available.
What do you dislike about the product?
Collaborating with people not having a paid membership is difficult since many tools are not accessible then. Also, for a corporate team like mine, it is not made clear if we can easily add or remove any members from the paid membership.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Brainstorming became so much easier for my team, which is entirely remote. The tools available are also fun to use during the brainstorming sessions. The new addition of the music with the timer is a 'cherry on the top'.
We also use it to have brainstorming/ engagement sessions with our clients. And it's helpful that people don't have to sign up for it.
