Loving Miro!

What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of use but the comprehensiveness of the features and tools. The auto-connectors are a small but time-saving win.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are still some additional shapes that would be handy. Also, the facility to change the colours of all shapes would be appreciated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm predominantly using Miro for process mapping and use-case creation/analysis. I'm much more productive, as I can do everything in one place.

Miro is an excellent tool for remote and in-person collaboration.

What do you like best about the product?
The interactivity of using a board to collaborate with one another. Being able to see each other's cursors really helps with feeling engaged.

They provide a set number of templates to use that mean you can quickly put together a meeting plan in minutes if needed I.e. Retrospective, sprint planning.

I recently found out there's an app on ipad & mac which is great for using an apple pencil and quickly accessing files.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the zoom control can be a bit whacky. Where you feel like you're really zoomed in and actually you're at 150%, which means anything you create is out of scale..
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We map our user journeys to clearly define to developers & designers what we expect a user to do when visiting a product. The integration with Adobe XD also really helps this as designers can export their designs directly into miro for developers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make use of the 'projects' to keep your boards organised.

Miro changed how I work with colleagues across the globe

What do you like best about the product?
I love how seamless Miro is for collaborators. I have team members overseas collaborate on the same board with zero lag time. I also love that Miro allows me to be as freeform or structured as I need to be depending on what I am trying to accomplish.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some odd behaviors depending on the zoom level and the current table feature leaves a lot to be desired. I would love to also have stronger chart graphics because I prefer using Miro over any MS product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a Product Manager and I primarily use Miro to solve for two things:
improving communication across office locations and an employee base of 600+
Driving seamless collaboration among teams

I have realized Miro is powerful enough to handle my most complicated executive level reports to a simple game of tic tac toe with a coworker in another country.

Changed the way our department works!

What do you like best about the product?
We love that Miro is a one-stop interactive board! We use it as a short-term and long-term project calendar, information storage, message center, and more! It is so simple to use, but features many robust features at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing we haven't found a simple way to do is to share items our team has created in Miro with members of our organization who are not on our Team. We'd love an option to Export a frame and its contents as an image file that could be emailed or posted on our organization's website.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With the nature of our team, we have a lot of projects going on at once, and Miro allows us to see what is coming up and schedule our staff accordingly. Having a clear project board has helped us not let projects fall through the cracks, and therefore has increased satisfaction across our entire organization.

The premier online collaboration tool, whatever your sector.

What do you like best about the product?
The small learning curve. It means you can bring someone into an existing board and get contributing in minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Find it much easier/reliable to use a separate video conferencing tool alongside Miro rather than trying to do it all inside one app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mapping, communicating and solving customer experience and employee experience challenges. The ability to lock and share boards across a whole business has increased comprehension and engagement exponentially.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look no further. Miro is a powerful tool with an active community and a low barrier to entry in terms of price and skill.

Fun collaboration tool

What do you like best about the product?
The open canvas to create and collaborate in any way you can think of makes it great to zoom into details and out for overview, whether it's a large project overview or a collection of different things we have done together it gives you a great place to work together.
What do you dislike about the product?
You need to know how a board works when you first arrive, and there isn't anything that will help you there since we all work in different ways and you'll have to learn from your peers. I would love to have layers added so I can create things on different layers and hide/show as needed :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've been running all sorts of team meetings, and it's great to keep those in one place and jump into old stuff when needed later. We've run large meetings and used miro for gathering questions beforhand and that has been great for everyone to see the questions and even answer or add to them before the meeting.

Uninhibited problem solving potential

What do you like best about the product?
Fast, flexible, and intuitive. Provides an excellent means to explore and develop communication and collaborative styles to bring teams together. Incredible for creating maps of concepts with structure to manage and execute upon problems.
What do you dislike about the product?
I understand why you can't use it offline, but working on boards in an offline mode would be incredibly valuable. Allowing the owner to lock the board or check it out to work on it would be huge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mapping out enterprise architecture and data flow, focusing on defining processes and people. Having a singular collaborative space allows for collective review and editing to ensure that the information adequately communicates to as wide an audience as possible.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Explore as much of the free tier until you inevitably decide to upgrade. It's worth it.

Amazing as a virtual whiteboard!

What do you like best about the product?
I like how the MIRO auto-completes my flowcharts. It's almost as if it knows what I'm going to do next.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the fact that some people in my company don't have access to it entirely. So, sharing becomes a little difficult. This is probably because they work as external consultants, and hence run into security issues. But it tends to hamper collaboration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When I'm working with my designer, we use MIRO to map the current flow of actions performed. This is done even before we come up with UX. We learnt that UX iterations are expensive since they are still higher fidelity. MIRO iterations are very cheap and easy to follow. They offer the right level of focus on core flows.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Teach your teams how to create mind-maps and process-flow diagrams. Once they are sold on the idea, using a tool like MIRO will seal the deal and concretise the habit of creating diagrams as part of their work.

Great tool that not only helps with online work but promises more beyond that

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to collaborate real-time with others, create shared mental model and have that as living reference that is kept up to date. I find it easier to work with than Mural, though that's OK also, and the templates are better.
What do you dislike about the product?
Fuzzy logic about when boards are visible to people (this might happen on on free version), sometimes tricky to highlight multiple objects and then move them (often deselects), would want better spreadsheet integration (google sheets integrates OK-ish but changes made by one person don't appear to others until they exit editing it).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Brainstorming (solutioning, Product visioning/planning), 'big room planning', Agile games, etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's the best tool out there for these collaborative purposes. I'm hoping/trusting that Miro will continue to up their game and not squander the position their in. I definetely reccomend Miro!

Virtual Whiteboard tool that can be used for bussines

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is an excellent tool to use for teams and have all ideas on the board and organize them for a good fit for everyone in the team. It is also fun to use for the team as well. Having ideas spread out for everyone to see makes group projects come to life more easily and keeps everyone focused on the matter at hand.
What do you dislike about the product?
The inability to work properly when dealing with large projects lags a lot, and it's not working at full speed; this in time becomes frustrating. Sometimes there are audio issues when using screen-share.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is used by our team to always have an action plan on our internal projects and always to have the next step for every decision we make. As well as to make plans for the team and a better way to make decisions for the future.
