Unlimited editable active boards/external boards for educators
What do you like best about the product?
The free account for staff members and students of educational institutions combined with unlimited boards so that we can plan our boards for the whole semester without having to archive boards and set up new ones along the way. The cap of 100 for an education team is reasonable too.
What do you dislike about the product?
A zoom function so that I can quickly zoom in on and out from specific posts for discussion would be useful.
It can get quite untidy so an option to not allow post-its to overlap would be useful.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using it for educational purposes. It's great for making our thinking visible and we can quickly organise and re-organise our ideas.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are an educator, refer to their website for information on how to apply for a free account: https://help.miro.com/hc/en-us/articles/360017730473-Education-Plan#h_01EZVF7D35NGHWM2DR2H70D2FR
Miro is a complete real-time collaborative working tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact that there's no space limit on the boards. Besides, it's user-friendly, full of tools, allows integration with other apps and it has a huge base of knowledge.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately, the more your team adds to the board, the slower it gets to load.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Miro, my team and I can develop better processes and solutions for our customers. We benefit a lot from Miro because we can work simultaneously, even if we're apart, without using a large physical board, paper, pens, etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need an unlimited, real-time, collaborative, user-friendly working tool to build flowcharts, processes, or diagrams with your team, try Miro.
Miro for improved team productivity
What do you like best about the product?
Miro has a rich set of templates with previews to get you started.
Once we were comfortable we could explore the template created by the user community.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it takes a while to find a mindmap on the canvas because it is so small. It may just be that we are new to Miro. There may be a way to tag or locate a diagram that we have not yet discovered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our problem was collaborating as a team now that we will always be working remotely.
Miro has helped us:
- collaborate within a Zoom, Teams, or Skype session
- to focus on the task and not the tool
- improved brainstorming effort and team participation
- quickly resolve problems and
- easily develop new solutions

What do you like best about the product?
I like to use it as a digital board to visualize any ideas and they also have many great templates for it. Easy to show and discuss with others. Very easy to use and they even have a mobile app for it as well, which is very intuitive and synchronized perfectly between mobile and web!
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't download PDFs for free. It would be great if they have that feature (like in Figma) where you can download your work in different formats for free.
Only 3 editable boards can be used in free version

Highly recommend
Helps visually communicate ideas 💡
What do you like best about the product?
I love the open format of a blank Miro. You can iterate all over a page and the tools allow you to show a range of drafts: from bare bones ideas to a more polished wireframe. If you're feeling really stuck about how to get your ideas out of your head and into an organized format, the templates nudge you in the right direction.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really don't have any dislikes. It's a great place to sketch that requires no skills before having a designer take to Figma
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have to visually communicate often as a remote employee that is introducing new marketing assets to the organization. Dogma helps me simply put together ideas in an art format. We also as a team use the brainstorming features which is a nice way to keep everyone focused.

Beats any collaborative tool out there!
What do you like best about the product?
I introduced Miro to my team and they absolutely love it! They love how Miro allows us to be collaborative in real-time and how it allows us to be able to communicate our ideas in a very effective way. Also, this tool is incredibly user-friendly to the point that it took my colleagues less than 5 minutes to fully understand how to use the tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much that I can think of in regards to what I dislike. Miro Rocks!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There's a ton of benefits when using Miro!
1) Real-time communication/collaboration with teammates
2) It's a great way to keep track of comments related to each design work that I add to my miro board.
3) it's great for when I do need immediate feedback on a design from my colleague and with the use of the comment feature it totally solves my problem!

Incredible Planning and Visualization Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Miro has many useful features, but its "boundary free" layout is a favorite. The ability to keep adding visuals and expanding your workspace is incredibly helpful for complex, nuanced projects or processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes time to get used to remembering to toggle from edit (arrow icon) to move/scroll (hand icon). If you don't, you'll inevitably move an object/shape rather than move the field of view.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm the project manager for planning and implementing major changes to four graduate-level education programs that see a throughput of 15,000 students per year. Our team uses Miro to visually show our journey from legacy programs to an outcomes based approach. Miro lets us depict the flow from program goals, to stakeholder requirements, to competencies, to knowledge/skills/abilities/behaviors, to eventual program learning outcomes. It's an incredibly complex and involved enterprise, but Miro's fantastic visuals coupled with a super intuitive interface make it not only feasible, but eminently presentable to stakeholders and leaders!

What do you dislike about the product?
That other people in my team don't use it. It is perceived as a designer's tool, but it isn't. It can help everybody in their remote activity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't need any more papers that I usually lose somewhere. I stick notes, attach files, write pieces of information on the board, draft presentations, or draw concepts.
And then I share it with others, so people can directly feedback me, without writing any email or attach huge files.

Excellent collaboration tool for remote work
What do you like best about the product?
The general ease of use, tool avaiability and the multiple options to present and share a workflow, a productoutline or general idea with just about anyone.
What do you dislike about the product?
That it's only Web-Based, makes it hard to evaluate the security and enhance work off-line, on a train or plane, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me, it was the mix between a Graphics layout program like MS Visio and Presentation program like PPT. It feel like a natural evolution from several traditional tools.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Cant stand the "Whitewboard" options offered by Meeting and Teleconf platforms? Miro is the solution.
