Real-Time Collaboration That Empowers Creative Teams
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to do real time collaborations is invaluable to our team of creatives.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, the downside is that Miro does so much, it feels impossible to learn all the things that it can do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro significantly reduces the time it takes for us to collaborate, enabling our team to work together in real time rather than constantly sending files back and forth.
Effortless Real-Time Collaboration and Seamless Brainstorming
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to collaborate in real time. The infinite canvas feels natural for brainstorming, mapping flows, and organizing messy ideas before bringing them into Figma. The templates and sticky-note workflows also make workshops and research synthesis super smooth.
What do you dislike about the product?
Large boards can quickly become overwhelming, and performance drops when things get dense. I also find some interactions clunky compared to Figma, and keeping boards organized long-term takes more effort than it should.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves the challenge of brainstorming, mapping ideas, and aligning teams in a single place.
It benefits me by making collaboration easy, keeping discussions visual, and helping me clarify direction before moving into high-fidelity design.

Go to tool as a UX Researcher for Ease of Collaboration and Legibility During Synthesis
What do you like best about the product?
I really like Miro's legibility, which might seem simple, but compared to tools like FigJam, I find the note size in FigJam very hard to read. With Miro, the text automatically fits the notes nicely, making it much more usable and flexible. It's my go-to for asynchronous or synchronous online workshops. I also appreciate that Miro allows me to create a collaborative space where people can easily add their ideas or links from across the business. The ability to quickly tag data in flexible ways for sorting and the AI tools that help with the sorting process have been very helpful. Additionally, I like that it's extremely easy to use, to the point where many people at the company started using it organically, even before we had a shared business account. I also appreciate having my Google Docs connected so they appear right in Miro, which is very nice. Overall, I love Miro and would rate it a 10 out of 10.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think that there's room for the AI sorting to be improved. It can group by sentiment fairly well, but the categories aren't perfect. But that's also where I think I need to be able to be good at my job, and Miro can't do everything. So no real notes beyond that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro creates a collaborative space for sharing ideas and links, helps frame questions, and allows flexible data tagging and sorting with AI tools. It's where I do my best solo and group thinking, being able to lay things out however I need to fit the mental models I'm building. I've used this is both personal and professional contexts to stay organized, make sense from chaos, plan and synthesize.
Highly Customizable Boards and Seamless Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Miro is how I can visually customize the boards to my needs. I odn`t need to stick to a defined template, I can make it my own. Also the collaboration tools are very helpful when sharing briefings and updates
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the pricing is a bit step and I wish there was a video embed option.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating dashboards and briefings, it allows me to create clean layouts for my documents
Essential Tool for Visual Brainstorming, thinking and sharing
What do you like best about the product?
The open canvas and the amount of modules to use to build anything you like, from presentations to documentation without limits. The freedom to build anything and keep it on the same place, while at the same time the possibility to share and work together with colleagues.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile version is not as easy and useful as the desktop option. I understand the mobile view have limitations due to it's own nature. The mobile app is significantly harder to use than the desktop version. It is fine for viewing, but creating content on a phone is clumsy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps us overcome the constraints of linear communication channels like Email and Slack, or passive video calls. It creates a shared visual space that mimics a physical war room, effectively bridging the gap between remote employees. This allows us to brainstorm as if we were in the same room, turning otherwise passive meetings into active working sessions where everyone contributes simultaneously. Ultimately, it solves the issue of low engagement during workshops
Effortless Project Mapping, Easy Sharing
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy Miro is to use and appreciate the different templates available to get started. The templates help me at the starting point, and I am able to customize the design to match my needs really easily. I am able to create a clear view of the program, add screenshots of assets, and share it with internal stakeholders who may not have access to systems where the program is built. Also, the initial setup was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The way my company has the workspaces set up is a little confusing and can make sharing my boards with others difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to create clear program views, add screenshots of assets, and share with stakeholders. It's easy to use with helpful templates, allowing customization to meet my needs.
Ideal for planning and design, but improvable on mobile
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Miro is very easy to use. For team communication and document retrieval, it's great, it's like leaving handwritten notes that collaborators can see instantly. With Miro, you can upload all documents onto a board, comment on them, redraw over them, it's much more convenient for communicating among ourselves and with our clients. The initial installation of Miro was very easy and accessible. I don't yet know all the potential of Miro, but I look forward to discovering it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Using it from a phone is not very simple. Consider more intuitive shortcuts. There is too much manipulation to do from a phone that follows the same logic as using a computer, but that is not the case.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro allows me to create an overall vision of projects and facilitates team communication. It is practical for uploading, commenting, and redrawing architectural documents, thus simplifying internal collaboration and collaboration with clients.
Perfect Tool for Virtual Teaching
What do you like best about the product?
I like that all participants can write on the board at the same time. I also appreciate that I can use a different color over my students' work to show corrections. Additionally, I like the two erase features, with one erasing small bits and the other erasing large areas.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would LOVE it if Miro had pre-made number lines and graph coordinates I could grab and work on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro allows us to work together on a whiteboard without being in the same room.
Boards and Templates Workflows Make This a Standout Tool
What do you like best about the product?
boards and templates workflows make it easier to brainstorm
What do you dislike about the product?
I like the ability to share boards, view my recent activity, and access folders. These features make it easier to organize and collaborate on my projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I participated in a retro with the product team, where we focused on story mapping.
Intuitive Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Super easy and intuitive to use. I have many 'guests' join for workshopping sessions with no prior experience and very rarely any usability snags
What do you dislike about the product?
Exporting boards can be a bit tricky, especially when they are larger in size
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work remote and so Miro has become my collaborative whiteboard to use with colleagues
