Flexible, Collaborative, and Efficient—A Must-Have for Team Brainstorming
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is very flexible and collaborative. It helps teams brainstorm, document ideas, and align visually in one shared space. The real-time collaboration, templates, infinite canvas, and copy-sync feature make it easy to reuse and keep content consistent across multiple boards, improving efficiency for large or ongoing projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Managing access for multiple boards can be challenging, especially for confidential projects where public sharing is not allowed. It would be helpful if Miro provided better ways to manage grouped board access for external viewers without having to invite them one by one, even when using copy-synced content.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves the challenge of aligning teams across multiple stakeholders and locations by providing a single visual workspace. It reduces miscommunication, scattered documentation, and repetitive discussions by allowing real-time collaboration, clear visualization, and shared understanding. Features like templates and copy-sync help keep information consistent across boards, saving time and improving overall team efficiency.

The formatting options are quite limited, and there aren't many fonts to choose from. It can also take some time for newcomers to get the hang of how everything works.

This tool enables me to collaborate effectively, which is essential since I work with many virtual clients. It helps make my presentations and workshops appear more organized and interactive, allowing clients to feel genuinely involved in the process.
Great for Collaboration, but Has Usability Challenges

Having so many different links available for sharing your board can make it a bit confusing to identify the correct one when you need it.

Versatile Platform for Effortless Information Sharing
What do you like best about the product?
i love that we can share so much information and all formats possible on one page. its pretty versatile
What do you dislike about the product?
i dont like how inconsistent the request access option is. i was a creator of a board for my class and some students were able to access it just with the link, others had to request. it was very random and very nerve wracking checking constantly for requests.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it helped us study for an exam by sharing notes between students. overall saved our grades
Flexible Tool with Visual Collaboration, But Needs Stability Improvements
What do you like best about the product?
I like the flexibility of Miro and how it handles documents really well. The drag and drop feature is great, allowing me to expand and explore ideas easily. It's very easy to set up, and I've been a long-term user because of this. I also appreciate the ability to make ideas visual and share them in an open digital space.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the speed of Miro problematic, and it sometimes crashes or is buggy, which is frustrating. It would be much better if it were less buggy.

The Best Tool for Seamless Team Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I like that everything in Miro can be viewed in one window, which lets us zoom in and out as much as we like. This feature really helps use the tool more efficiently because we don't have to keep changing windows. I also find the initial setup for Miro super easy, and I enjoy starting with just an open fresh board.
What do you dislike about the product?
The document viewer has been challenging, particularly with the size of the document that can be uploaded, and the user experience could be better in terms of switching pages in a multipage PDF. Hitting the page to change to the next page is not as seamless as it could be, and a scrolling option might improve it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro enables my team to work more efficiently together by offering a single interface to share many types of information and visually see what others are focusing on without screen sharing.
Ideal for Visualization and Effective Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro because it helps me visualize workflows in BPMN and for design workshops and meetings that require visualizations. I love the completeness of its systems and the ease of interaction, as Miro was an early leader in the collaborative boards market and established UX patterns that I expect from other tools. The initial setup was easy because I had used it before. Additionally, it is robust for graphing BPMN, much more so than other tools like Figjam.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the appearance of the Post-its in Miro, they look strange and a bit old. I feel that some specialized templates could improve, be more flexible, or have clearer tools to use. In the connectors and gateways of BPMN diagrams, the lines have to go over the texts, which makes it look somewhat messy. Also, I would love to have AI tools capable of graphing BPMN flows within Miro. I would like Miro to have advantages of Figjam like its nicer components, the ability to do autolayout, or to summarize post-its with AI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to visualize workflows in BPMN, participatory design workshops, and meetings with visualizations. It addresses the need to visually communicate concepts, processes, and ideas.
