Valuable for Diagrams, With Autonomous Learning

  • November 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I primarily use Miro to create diagrams and architectural visualizations related to software development. The tool is extraordinarily valuable for translating complex problems into clear and organized visual representations, significantly facilitating the resolution of technical challenges in my daily workflow. Miro eliminates barriers that would make these tasks much more arduous without adequate visual support. Besides the core diagramming functionality, I deeply appreciate the intuitive learning curve; even with a challenging initial setup, the platform allows for autonomous exploration and mastery. This combination of functional power and accessibility makes Miro an indispensable tool that I consistently recommend to colleagues and friends in the technical field.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although Miro is functional, there are aspects that could be improved. Aesthetically, the visual style of the diagrams is comparatively more simplistic than some competitors; alternatives like Excalidraw offer visually more refined results while maintaining equivalent simplicity. Specifically, the initial setup presents a steeper learning curve than expected, particularly for tasks such as inserting and managing icons, whose interface is not sufficiently instructive. An improvement in contextual documentation during these initial operations would result in a significantly smoother onboarding experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves a critical challenge in my workflow: translating abstract technical problems into tangible visual representations. This is particularly valuable during the analysis and design phases in software development projects, where architectural clarity is essential. The direct benefit is the significant reduction in time needed to communicate complex solutions, both internally and to stakeholders, and to validate approaches before implementation. The spatial visualization offered by Miro drastically reduces the risk of misinterpretations and accelerates iteration on solutions, enhancing the overall quality of technical deliverables.

Beautiful Vision Boards and Notes with Impressive Customization

  • November 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to create vision boards, notes, Images, log detailed information neatly and aesthetically
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve is quite steep; many features end up going unused simply because it's not clear how to access or utilize them. While the templates initially seem impressive, I often end up making simpler versions myself, mainly because figuring out how to use some of the tools can be confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool lets me easily pair images with text, making everything visible at a glance. In contrast, platforms like Notion or Google Docs often require a lot of scrolling to locate images, and they can be restrictive when it comes to adjusting image size or placement due to their built-in formatting limitations.

Transformative Tool for Collaborative Planning

  • November 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I primarily use Miro as a collaborative tool for planning and brainstorming, especially with distributed teams, and it works excellently because it's very easy to use with self-explanatory tools. Miro offers a multitude of templates that allow me to kickstart my meetings quickly and efficiently. I particularly enjoy features like the timer and counters, which help me stay organized and prioritize tasks effectively, as well as the music feature, which creates a more pleasant atmosphere during meetings. The entry threshold to start using Miro is not very high, making it convenient for anyone to begin utilizing the platform. I have been using Miro for a long time, and I find it very straightforward to navigate. Overall, the combination of these features makes Miro indispensable for my workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't find it easy to plot complicated IT graphs with Miro. As an engineer, I feel there are limitations due to the lack of specialized shapes or libraries for IT diagramming. Additionally, the absence of connectors with auto-routing makes it challenging to create visually organized and accurate technical diagrams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to organize collaboration with distributed teams, streamline planning and brainstorming sessions, and run retrospectives. Its tools and templates make meetings efficient, while features like the timer, counters, and music help keep them engaging and structured.

My Go-To Platform for Visual Planning and Brainstorming

  • November 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro primarily for visual collaboration and project planning. It helps my team brainstorm ideas, map workflows, organize sprint plans, and track tasks visually. We rely on it for everything from mind-mapping, wireframing, workflow diagrams, and retrospectives to aligning cross-functional teams during virtual meetings. The real-time collaboration and templates make it easy to keep everyone on the same page, even when working remotely.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn’t much to dislike, but a few small things can be improved:

Sometimes the board becomes a bit cluttered when many people are editing at the same time.

Navigation can feel slightly tricky on very large boards.

A few features take time to get used to, especially for new users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me solve the challenge of bringing ideas, people, and tasks together in one place. Instead of juggling multiple documents or having scattered discussions, Miro gives us a single visual space where everything is organized.

It makes collaboration easier, especially when the team is remote or working across locations. Planning, brainstorming, and reviews become smoother, and everyone stays aligned. Overall, it saves time, improves clarity, and helps the team move faster with fewer misunderstandings.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Miro is how seamless the real-time collaboration feels. Whether I’m brainstorming with my team, running workshops, or organizing UX research, everyone can contribute without friction. The infinite canvas and ready-made templates make it incredibly easy to structure any kind of workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
For complex UX projects, very large boards tend to lag, which interrupts the flow during workshops. I also find the permission and access settings a little unintuitive when collaborating across teams or external partners.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves the challenge of scattered collaboration. It brings brainstorming, planning, and design discussions into one place, helping my team work faster and stay aligned.

Intuitive and Dynamic UI, Improve Teamwork

  • November 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy and dynamic Miro is; it has a playful 'game' touch that includes stickers and reactions, which makes it quite attractive and easy to get hooked on, facilitating participation in team dynamics. I also found the initial setup easy, thanks to the clear explanation provided by Research Ops in my company, which allowed for a quick adaptation. Additionally, I highly value Miro for aligning the UX team, refining with the product team, and for strategic and personal uses like planning a trip, which demonstrates its versatility and usefulness in multiple contexts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there are many features I don't know about because I stick to the basics. Integrating them into my daily routine is difficult to discover them. Also, what I think is the worst is the management and organization of documents; it becomes complicated for me that once I share links, my colleagues, if not through the link, find the document in their workspaces.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to align the UX team, refine with the product team, and organize strategic ideas, simplifying collaboration and planning. Its dynamic interface encourages participation.
