Transformative for Collaborative and Visual Workflow

  • November 10, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love Miro for its exceptional ability to facilitate real-time and asynchronous collaboration with groups, which is brilliant and makes my role as a facilitator significantly easier. The digital outputs streamline my tasks and help structure my thinking, allowing me to map my thoughts and refine ideas effectively. Miro excels in catering to visual learners by enabling quick, visual pattern recognition during conversations or ideation sessions, helping in forming a shared understanding of problems and potential solutions. The platform's transparency and record-keeping foster a clear decision-making trail, easing onboarding for new participants in discussions. I particularly appreciate Miro's real-time collaboration feature, which allows for the effortless addition of diverse content like links, videos, and PDFs directly into the boards. Inviting clients as guests or visitors is another fantastic feature, seamlessly integrating them into the process without compromising on security or requiring additional tools. This eliminates client access barriers and helps them feel part of the team, making collaboration smooth even with varied industry compliance needs. Setting up Miro was incredibly straightforward due to its compatibility with our Google office environment, simplifying login with SSO. Ultimately, these features collectively make Miro an invaluable tool that I highly recommend.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the spreadsheet integration with Miro unsatisfactory. Currently, I paste tables into Miro, but the data isn't visually represented in a way that utilizes the platform's strengths. I wish Miro could interpret spreadsheet data and convert it into more intuitive, visually engaging elements like post-its. Moreover, the playback function could be enhanced. I often present frames from a board, and it would be beneficial if Miro could record these presentations and store them within the board, offering a 'walkthrough' feature. Currently, I have to record presentations using other tools like Google and then upload the video back to Miro, which is cumbersome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to facilitate real-time collaboration, accelerate conversation, and visually organize thoughts. It simplifies integrating participants with different tool access, enhancing teamwork and decision-making while eliminating barriers.

Essential for Collaboration, Needs Better Offline Support

  • November 10, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate that Miro offers a free version, which has been extremely beneficial for organizations where I volunteer and who cannot afford to pay for premium tools. The availability of a free version is invaluable as it allows us to leverage Miro's capabilities without financial strain. Additionally, I love the whiteboard-like design of Miro, which makes collaboration feel more informal and encourages openness. Unlike traditional document tools, Miro's design helps people feel less pressured to produce polished content immediately and promotes a sense of equality and ease among team members. This design naturally encourages the free flow of ideas, making the process of sharing and collaboration feel much lighter and more inclusive. In a collaborative environment, especially one with varying levels of experience, Miro’s platform puts everyone on the same level, fostering an environment where ideas are more openly shared.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it challenging that Miro requires a strong Internet connection, as it sometimes doesn't load properly with weaker connections. This issue is especially prevalent when working in developing countries. It would be beneficial if Miro could offer an offline version that allows collaboration without needing a stable connection, updating once internet access is restored.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to collaborate across distances, making teamwork possible when not physically together. Its whiteboard design encourages open sharing and ideation, removing the pressure of formal documents, which helps create an inclusive environment for team collaboration.
