Limitless Canvas for Visualizing Frameworks and Presenting Ideas
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite feature of Miro is the ability to draw with a pen onto the canvas, which I use the most because it allows me to express ideas. I enjoy using a pen on a digital tablet and creating on a canvas where I can keep it online and share it with people. I also like the fact that I can just drag in images and videos from platforms like YouTube, Zight, or Loom, making the board multimedia with video, audio, and the written word all in one place. Additionally, I appreciate the limitless canvas which allows me to zoom out and organize everything very easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like a few more features around drawing, like a laser pointer to highlight things without drawing, or creating shadows to draw attention. It would be nice to have annotation tools for presenting. Also, it could be easier to change colors or pens, as a person who does a lot of drawing (but not an artist!). I found resizing text boxes a bit strange when the box resizes just the text.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to sketch ideas, frameworks, present audits and deliver training by visually displaying points. It's an easy way to create and organize ideas in a limitless canvas, integrating text, images, video, and hand-drawn illustrations.
Effortless Collaboration and Intuitive Design with Miro
What do you like best about the product?
I like most about Miro is how easy and natural it feels to use. You can quickly put ideas on the board, move things around, and collaborate with others in real time without any confusion.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro only allows 3 boards for free account. Just kidding. I need more templates
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Instead of ideas being spread across chats, docs, and meetings, everything stays in one visual space. This helps me and my team think more clearly

What do you dislike about the product?
standalone version is a major resource hog. can't run it while trying to do other work
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Studio workflows and roadmap planning. Working together while remote.
Versatile Tool for Remote Collaboration, Needs Better AI Integration
What do you like best about the product?
I like Miro for its robust virtual collaboration features, especially with brainstorming sessions, since it captures ideas from all voices without being dominated by the loudest voice. It has many capabilities that I've managed to figure out, and it's quite easy to design with. I really appreciate features like the timer, voting, and private mode, which are great for remote collaboration. Private mode lets you brainstorm privately and then share publicly, fostering a diversity of ideas, while the voting feature helps eliminate bias, making it easier to narrow down ideas. Miro also integrates well with tools like Loom for video explanations, enhancing my collaboration and presentation workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there's a learning curve for a lot of folks in Miro, and it can be somewhat intimidating. Templates are never as useful as I want them to be. I find myself starting from scratch quite often when I shouldn't have to. There’s a bit of a challenge with content moving in ways that you're not hoping to, like adding a sticky and accidentally moving things if they're not locked. The embed feature doesn't work super great with Notion docs or Confluence, and putting it into Google Slides isn't smooth either.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro facilitates remote brainstorming, democratizes idea sharing, and captures diverse perspectives. Its visual elements enhance storytelling, and it integrates well with tools like Loom to transform content into other formats effectively.
Effortless Project Whiteboards for Fast Team Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
It’s incredibly easy to create project whiteboards for teams, allowing me to quickly develop new ideas, define features, and build a clear roadmap.
What do you dislike about the product?
When creating documentation there isn't easily accessible implementation of linking documentation to each point of the roadmap.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro allows me to collaborate with my team to discuss ideas and work flow of how to accomplish each project. Miro also allows for non technical users to easily grasp the ideas and the current direction of each project.
Effortless Collaboration and Versatile Planning
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to learn and use. Lots of different ways to use it. Like that I can share it with other people and work collaboratively with clients. I use it for planning and to visualise issues and problems I am trying to solve myself.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some clients try and join my team, rather than just a board, which is frustrating as I dont have account that allows this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaborative working on strategic problems, and mapping ideas with clients. Means I dont have to travel as much, which makes it cheaper for my clients as saves time and costs for me. Makes my work more accessible for small charities
Layout for our joint enrollment structure for onboarding of clients.
What do you like best about the product?
I find it very easy to share boards with others for comments or adjustments, which is especially helpful when collaborating across multiple teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
When building a board, there sometimes it too many options available which be overwhelming if you have not used the Miro before.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cross functional collaboration among different departments.
Elevates Collaboration with Visual Precision
What do you like best about the product?
I like the collaboration features in Miro and how easy it is to share quickly. It's very intuitive and visual, making complex tasks easier with visual representations in blocks. I also find it helpful in visualizing parts of the feature ticket and identifying the status or flow we're working on. It's great for knowing the progress of tasks and labeling data points. Miro significantly reduces the time spent in meetings by explaining the flow and storytelling using the data, and I love that I can reuse the templates. The initial setup was straightforward as we could easily add teams and individual boards.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think versioning could be beneficial, and alignment and exportation can be improved. Allowing users to create labeled checkpoints, assigning owners/reviewers for alignment, and including comments on the exports would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps visualize feature tickets, identify status, track task progress, and label data points. It simplifies complex tasks with visual aids and enhances collaboration, reducing meeting time. It allows quick sharing and reuse of templates.
Intuitive Collaboration, Great for Remote Teams
What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro for a lot of organizational design and internal purposes, as well as for client-related deliverables. I find that it makes real-time sharing and brainstorming or ideation easier. I like that Miro is basically an online whiteboard, which is great for ease of collaboration and overall usage. It's pretty intuitive to learn, even if you're new to it, and my team, which has multiple offices, can easily work on the same material in real-time and involve team members as needed. The initial setup was pretty easy and user-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it annoying to have to constantly zoom in on more complicated projects or items like global org charts. It would be great to have a bullseye feature that can be dropped over an area so that that area is made bigger, like being under a magnifying glass, while the other areas stay small.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro makes real-time sharing and brainstorming easier. We can work on the same material in real time across multiple offices, enhancing collaboration with an intuitive interface.
Effortless Team Collaboration and Project Tracking
What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to collaborate with my team and seeing their progress throughout projects. It's a great tool for brainstorming. When we have the whole team on a call together, it's easy to open up a Miro board to see the live progress of ideas and concepts. It's great for presenting as well- we're able to show all the ideas and how we came to them, all in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although it's relatively easy to use, it takes a while to get used to the controls. I mainly use the Adobe Suite for work, so the zooming/scrolling/editing features took a while to learn. I was worried about messing up someone else's workspace when I initially started, but once I got used to the controls, I was less worried about that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's difficult to collaborate effectively when most of your design team works remotely. Miro is a great tool for collaboration and helps bring teams together in an age where remote work is the norm. It's wonderful to see the progression of projects from ideas to refined concepts. It really helps kickstart your own ideas when you're able to see into everyone else's mind.
