Outstanding Collaboration and User-Friendly Design Make Miro a Remote Team Essential
What do you like best about the product?
Miro excels due to its outstanding user-friendliness and seamless collaboration features, making it the best digital whiteboard for remote teams. Its intuitive interface and vast template library eliminate the learning curve, allowing users to quickly visualize complex ideas. The ability to view and edit boards anywhere across all devices ensures smooth, real-time synchronization, making Miro the most flexible and efficient single workspace for visual communication and strategic planning.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main problem I encounter is performance lag when handling large, content-rich boards. This issue is especially apparent on mobile devices such as iPads and smartphones, where actions like scrolling, zooming, and editing become quite sluggish. As a result, this performance limitation undermines Miro's "edit anywhere" promise, particularly when working on sizable, complex projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro addresses the core problem of fragmented and distributed team collaboration, especially in remote work environments. By providing a single, centralized visual canvas that can be accessed and edited in real-time from anywhere, Miro effectively bridges the gap between physical and digital work. For me, the benefits include enhanced visual clarity, as all information and ideas are structured in one place, and greater work flexibility, allowing me to contribute to brainstorming and planning efficiently without being constrained by location or time zone.
Essential Tool for Collaborative Design
What do you like best about the product?
I like Miro's intuitive interface, which makes working with it straightforward. I also appreciate the wide variety of files and formats it supports, along with its scaling capabilities. The initial setup is very easy, which was a big plus for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
When using the app, inactive tabs will sometimes go grey and fail to load. There should be an ability to reload a board from the open tab within the app instead of having to close the tab and re-open the board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves the difficulty of design collaboration across digital mediums and different locations.
Intuitive, Effective, Perfect for Education
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate that Miro offers a free level of support, which makes it easier for me to plan and organize within a limited budget. The infinite white space and array of templates available are great; I can get tasks done without starting from scratch. The platform is visually appealing, which is important to me as a visual learner. The format is intuitive and works well for my needs, allowing me to adjust and work on the fly, making visual representations look nice. Miro has integrated seamlessly as a replacement for Google Jamboard, providing similar tools without needing to relearn, and offering many templates, which are a game changer. The history function is also really nice for collaboration, making it easy to track changes when working with others.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some people find Miro a bit cumbersome when using it for the first time, mainly because they haven't used it before. So the learning curve for some folks has been the only real complaint I've heard. Also, when I've shared things out, there have been instances where individuals accidentally deleted a whole template or board. But it's nice that it's pretty easy to undo that change. Also, for our nonprofit, it'd be nice to have a different pricing tier, as it looks like there's only one pricing dynamic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for brainstorming, curriculum development, and athletics tracking. It excels in white space collaboration, surpassing Google Docs. The templates simplify cross-curricular integration. The array of templates and intuitive format enhance visual representation, saving time and effort.

Visually Intuitive with Robust Features, But AI Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro for work, taking concepts into visualized patterns, providing structure and clarity on what can be done, and for presentations. I like how easy and accessible it is, and it has many great options. I really value the ability to draw, including the AI drawing, because it helps with schematics at work and it's awesome. Also, the comments feature is amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the AI assistant and how it forcefully slaps itself into some boards and how much of a hassle it is. Sometimes I'll accidentally click and it'll start generating slop, and then it's just laggy. Just making it less intrusive would make it better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to transform concepts into visual patterns, providing structure and clarity, and for presenting ideas.

It's visual, intuitive and flexible, making it easy to collaborate in real time. It’s great for discussing ideas, brainstorming and keeping everyone aligned.
What do you dislike about the product?
For new or less experienced users, there can be a bit of a learning curve before they feel fully comfortable using all the features.

Mainly with turning scattered ideas into clear, shared visuals, improving collaboration, decision making and team alignment.
Collaborative Canvas for Complex Mapping
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy using Miro for visualizing multiple steps in a customer journey because it provides a high-level overview and lets me drill down into more details. It's great for collaborating with multiple users in an easy format, better than Docs or Slides. I like the shapes and resizing features, and I can put everything in one large page. It's also helpful to see who left comments on certain portions while collaborating inside the document.
What do you dislike about the product?
It works easier when I use the trackpad on Mac as opposed to using my wireless mouse. It's a different experience. I also would like more templates, or maybe an AI feature to help with refining text within the doc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to visualize customer journeys with ease, collaborate effectively, and detail overviews better than Docs or Slides. It allows easy commenting and collaboration inside the document, making it a great team tool.
Convenient and Accessible, with Some UI Clutter
What do you like best about the product?
I find Miro extremely convenient for my university work. It's easily accessible, free, and I can access it from any device. The initial setup is easy, which was a big plus for me. Miro is enough for my needs, and I don't even have to use other tools with it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the screen cluttered, with too much going on in the UI. It could be condensed down more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro allows me to complete my module, and I appreciate how it is easily accessible, free, and easy to access from any device.
Intuitive and Effective for Team Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I find Miro really helpful for keeping a good overview of the many aspects of our design process. It's easy to work on with multiple people and intuitive to use. New team members can join the process instantly and access project history just by scrolling the board. I love the drag and drop feature, which works well and is instant. Adding notes, reference images, and going back to previous options is nice. The setup was super easy, and we've been using Miro for many years; it's awesome. I particularly appreciate how it keeps our daily overview and process tracking well in place.
What do you dislike about the product?
We can’t upload PDFs (which we get from CAD software) as it makes the board work very slow. We made a workaround rule to only upload screenshots which works but sometimes people forget and the board becomes very slow. Also sometimes the boards get very big and keep hanging. Then we make a new board but the history/workflow is a bit broken between two boards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to keep a good overview of our design process, making it easy to collaborate with multiple people, sketch on drawings, and track project history. Miro's intuitive interface lets new team members quickly join and scroll through past projects, aiding collaboration.
