Intacct Review
What do you like best about the product?
Intacct is very intuitive and although they offer a wide variety of training, I have been able to train myself on how to perform most tasks due to this. It is also a software that companies can grow with.
What do you dislike about the product?
The prepaid module is the only area that could require some improvement, it is a little clunky and not as intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a very high number of transactions and with the new revenue recognition guidance their new Contracts module will be a life saver. Using this we will be able to comply with the new guidance and perform the necessary MEA allocations needed in the system.

I like custom fields, and custom reporting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have realized a great benefit from the contracts module.

Definitely switch to Intacct!

the simplicity of the chart of accounts with the use of all dimensions

i think the reporting features can use some revamping and easier to produce.

cloud based, visibility, efficiency. we have only scratched the surface of what Intacct can do

only transfer historical data balances rather than details
Intacct gives me the tools to provide meaningful reports to my clients
What do you like best about the product?
The dashboard capabilities are incredible, especially when you take advantage of statistical reporting. Instead of spending so much time on pulling together the info, Intacct allows me to focus on the results to give meaningful insight and trends since it pulls the data for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
The amount of time it takes to implement the system. Also it is not possible to make simple reclasses while reviewing financials.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Measuring profitability by projects and a closer look of cash flow.

very powerful, take your time with implementation and look for best business practices

I am an AR Specialist and I love the new Rev Rec and how it is completely automated.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface could definitely be cleaner and look better. I'm excited for the new look coming out in 2017.

Saving so much time and clicks with the automated processes.

Ap module - It has all the options that AP team needs. Bill creation is easy Setting up vendor is user friendly

Benefits - Bill analysis report is very useful for month close

What do you like best about the product?
Reporting functionality. With the use of dimensions we are able to more fully understand the business, and structure our reporting to reflect how the business is actually setup.
What do you dislike about the product?
Permissions granularity is powerful, but is extremely difficult to configure effectively.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Increased insights into spending, and distributed reporting.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of creating and generating reports from intacct into Excel or any other product. Also, I love how automated the processes are that have help expedite our month end close.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how employee users can not print invoices out of Order Entry with detail. It seen odd to me that they have the ability to print out of AR but not OE.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving for the delay in closing the monthly financials. We have realized faster closes with more automated processes.

Intacct Advantage 2016 - The Conference for Accountants Ahead of the Curve
What do you like best about the product?
I have consistently voiced that Intacct has made our company run more efficiently in just about every Finance department task. There are so many ways to customize the data and reports that you are viewing that it is the best platform for an organization of any scope or size.
What do you dislike about the product?
The report writer has been a bit tedious up to this point but we are extremely excited about the new report writer and the analytical tools that are soon to come!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving redundancies and inefficiencies all over the company. We have now become the data professionals for every department because of the abilities that Intacct has offered us.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The fact that every quarter there are new features speaks for itself. I don't know any other accounting software company that has put so much time and effort into individualizing the features for each company to make sure everyone is getting the most out of the software from the most basic of users to the most complex of needs. I can assure you that you get what you pay for with this software and it is worth the time of learning how to customize it to your needs.

Order entry module, Revenue recognition capability.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the conversion, we were not told many things we are finding out about today, and can't go back & change it.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were taking weeks to close. Today, we can close in matters of days, with rev rec being up to date daily, it's easy.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get names/emails of companies that implemented Intacct & talk to them.
Intacct could also give out names of their customers that agree to share their experience. That would be very helpful to new users or potential customers.
