Efficient for data wrangling
What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive UX where the computation progress is shown to us live and the built in tool like time Formaters, filters and Joins facilitate the work of doing data cleansing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because it is a strong and powerful tool, it is not a tool for one day job so it can be pricey.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It breaks down the ETL process visually, processes massive amounts of data very quickly, and allows multiple data sources to interact with each other which has made reporting very convenient.
The Leading Application to improve speed of Data Transformation.
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful is the ability to quickly perform complex adjustments to my data. This application has saved us time and resources especially on creating workflows. It's an amazing software that doesn't require any coding user experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Alteryx sometimes slow when dealing with big data. This is something that can be worked on and get solved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Alteryx has streamlined the ETL processes and customer analytics as well as automation of data.
Reliable Data Blending and Processing Platform.
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful is the ability this product has to blend very well and manipulation of multiple data sources. The application is user friendly and easy to use with a intuitive graphical interface. I like how the application integrates various data sources into one system foe ETL process and analysis of data.
What do you dislike about the product?
The application cannot allow you to run any any other task with the input file open. They can allow this aspect so that at least we can be able to compare.

Alteryx has streamlined and improved report turn around times through the automation of data preparation.

What do you like best about the product?
Alteryx is super user-friendly, but its most significant benefit has been the community.
What do you dislike about the product?
The server functionality was initially unreliable, and outages were frequent. Updates over the years have improved performance and reliability substantially.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Alteryx makes blending data from multiple sources a breeze. I have more time and I am more productive as a result.

What do you like best about the product?
The interface is easy to use, navigate through and I love it's search capabilities. It simplifies the learning curve a bit. Compared to other products I think Alteryx shines in these capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be a memory hog. Not sure how to fix that, maybe some sort of optimization under the hood. It also needs to ship with the correct Access database Distribution Engine and Oracle InstantClient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's taking mundane, manual tasks with data, simplifying and automating it. I put it out on the server and I no longer have to perform the work for my partners. They can do it themselves.
Mind-blowing ETL tool
What do you like best about the product?
I am using Alteryx form last 6 years. This has made my office work smooth and easy. I have also done Automation through MS excels but it was really frustrating.
What do you dislike about the product?
Need visualisation function as well, add more tool to enhance look of the output. Also workflow processing on tool can be enhanced. Recently Alteryx increased the cost as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are moving all our Excel and MS based automations on Alteryx. Alteryx workflow can be scheduled on server and developed workflow can be utilised by any team members whithout having Alteryx licence
Extremely useful tool for multi server data aggregation
What do you like best about the product?
What I like about Alteryx is that it uses a node based system kind of like KNIMe but more sophisticated. It also allows for us to utilize our own code which a huge benefit for the work that has already been carried out. The most useful aspect for us is the ability to aggregate data from different sources. Orcale, Teradata, SQL Server, large datasets are able to be generated easily and quickly. Sometimes when trying to create datasets when SQL Assistant is lagging or not running at peak performance, I switch to Alteryx and am able to generate my datasets. It is a really good tool for varying levels of data analysis experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not a much to dislike about Alteryx. Perhaps those individuals with very basic and beginner levels of data analysis and data literacy make require more training to use it effectively. Some of the syntax in formulas are different from other coding languages and require some troubleshooting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem that Alteryx solves for me is the ability to aggregate data from different servers and sources into one data set with all required fields for necessary data exploration and analysis.
Alteryx is Powerful
What do you like best about the product?
The drag and drop user interface is great. It makes it really easy to use and the search function works great. You can even pull up tutorials on the application so that you can research a tool before using it
What do you dislike about the product?
The PCXML is confusing. You cant write regular HTML and it will convert it to a weird format so it doesnt display properly. I wish you could also connect to SharePoint Libraries

Alteryx has helped us solve issues with reporting. We use alteryx to automate reporting for our group and saves us so much time. We have been using alteryx for about a year

What do you like best about the product?
Alteryx simplifies and improves a lot of end to end processes for the team I work on. It is easy to use and there's a lot of things within the community to help
What do you dislike about the product?
A couple of features which are limited. The email tool is a great feature but to limit it to 10MB is a BIG downside for many companies who want to attach documents that are sizeable.
Secondly, the server scheduling is limited in the fact it doesn't allow business days to be scheduled and is limited to calendar days. Again a massive drawback for companies

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Straight through processing all contained within Alteryx. The use of a hybrid model where it is part code and part Alteryx works well in some cases
Alteryx is an essential tool help the automation development
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to collaberate different datasource and it can embed different software for coding and development, and also it connects to tableau server directly.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is license required tool. Not all my peer has license to view the contents.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Alteryx to wrangle data, it helps me prepare the dataset to be the exact table I need before import to tableau.
