Alteryx is such a great tool with data prep and analytics that I can easily visualize in Power BI!

What do you like best about the product?
Alteryx allows the user to easily connect to data and start prep and blend right away.

Embedded credentials can be challenging to deal with from a security perspective

Our whole company uses Alteryx, from Tax, Audit, HR, Actuary and IT. We solve a variety of problems everyday
Alteryx Is A Transformative Journey For Me!
What do you like best about the product?
Alteryx has enabled me to turn weeks-long manual processes to rapid self-service solutions. I can discover hidden insights in disparate data through transformation and integration

The only downside is potentially the barriers to entry. It is hard for people to understand the amazing capabilities of the platform unless they experience what it can do.

What do you like best about the product?
The easy to use interface, tons of examples on how to use each tool, excellent support, ability to start building your workflows immediately, and online community. I started using Alteryx by searching online for a solution to my issue and found the answer right away. Turns out it was an intermediate level and as a beginner I was able to solve for it!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is that some of the new machine learning features are going to cloud. I would like to see those who are using the AIS to get those features on desktop too!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Alteryx allows us to create analytic apps for business users to save them time and effort to conquer their main tasks. We use Alteryx for ETL, connecting with Tableau, to deep dive into large datasets easily, and do advanced calculations on our data with ease.
Making automation a reality
What do you like best about the product?
Alteryx has helped us save a lot of time with managing our membership data files, cleaning data and running reports, creating analytic apps and scheduling jobs. It has resulted in 100s of hours of savings over time. It addition we run some business critical processes where we save hours every week by automating manual tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would be good to have capability like SFTP built in.
