AWS IoT Core Adds the Ability to Stream Time-series Data to Amazon Timestream
AWS IoT Core now supports a new IoT rule action to stream time-series data from devices connected to AWS IoT Core directly to your Amazon Timestream database, without writing a single line of code.
For example, you can create a rule to stream sensor location data to an Amazon Timestream database using the Amazon Timestream action for your asset tracking application. Once the data is stored in the Amazon Timestream database, you can then perform time series analysis with the data at 1/10th the cost of a relational database (reference: Amazon Timestream).
Amazon Timestream action is available in all regions where Amazon Timestream is currently available, namely US East (N Virginia), US East (Ohio), US West (Oregon), and EU (Dublin).
