Nextdoor provides private social networks for more than 70% of neighborhoods across the United States. Nextdoor has been native on AWS since Day 1, using over 30 AWS services to run their platform. Nextdoor moved to containers running on AWS, using Route53 and the Elastic Load Balancer to execute red/black deployments across a microservices architecture running on Docker Containers using Amazon E2 Container Service (Amazon ECS).
