Joshua Burgin is a Director and General Manager for Compute Services at AWS. Joshua owns the Spot and Thinkbox businesses, along with Launch Services, working with customers of all sizes to optimize how they use EC2. He started his career as one of Amazon's first 100 employees. Prior to rejoining Amazon in 2014, Joshua led the engineering and product teams responsible for Zynga's in-game advertising technology platform. Joshua is passionate about shipping technology products that delight customers and deliver business results.


Olivier is a hands-on technologist working for Amazon Web Services across Asia-Pacific and Europe to help customers build resilient, scalable, secure and cost-effective applications and create innovative and data driven business models. He advises how emerging technologies in the Artificial Intelligence (AI), ML, AR/VR and IoT space can help create new products, make existing processes more efficient, provide overall business insights and leverage new engagement channels for end-consumers. In Olivier’s beliefs, agility is driven through quick, data-driven iterations of lean and quantifiable developments. Prior to his AWS time, Olivier ran the digital product strategy for an American multinational publishing, education and media company across Asia and lead engineering and R&D efforts to build a virtualised web service platform for a Luxembourgish Internet Service Provider pre-cloud era.
