Amazon Chime brings Meetings and Chat to Your Browser with a New Web Application
Starting today, users can access Amazon Chime from their web browser. The new Amazon Chime web application makes it easy to join meetings from any device with a supported browser, including those running Linux or ChromeOS, without downloading or installing a client application. The web application lets users use Amazon Chime on more devices, and helps them stay connected and productive.
To get started, users simply navigate to the Amazon Chime web application, or click on the meeting link provided in a meeting invitation. To join meetings, users do not need an Amazon Chime account. The web application lets them to use their computer audio, view shared screens, access the meeting roster, and participate in chat. Registered Amazon Chime users can sign in to the web application to access additional features like group chats, ad-hoc calls, meeting scheduling, meeting host controls, and they are also notified to join scheduled meetings with the auto-call feature.
