Starting today, the AWS Application Discovery Service Agentless Collector adds support for routing all communication to AWS through either an HTTP or HTTPS proxy. This allows you to deploy the collector within environments without a direct route to AWS.
With the agentless collector, users can configure the discovery and monitoring of their existing VMware and database workloads in a matter of minutes. The data can then be used in AWS Migration Hub and AWS DMS Fleet Advisor to define applications to migrate, or explore Amazon EC2 or Amazon RDS recommended instance types.
