AWS App Mesh

Application-level networking for all your services

Streamline operations, implement custom traffic routing rules, and configure and standardize how traffic flows between your services.

Capture metrics, logs, and traces from your applications to quickly identify and isolate issues and optimize your application.

Enhance network security with authentication controls and encrypted requests between services—even within your private network.

How it works

AWS App Mesh provides application-level networking so your services can communicate across multiple types of compute infrastructure.

AWS App Mesh forms a service mesh for your application by providing an AWS managed control plane. The control plane helps you run microservices by providing consistent visibility and network traffic controls for each microservice in your application.

Introduction to AWS App Mesh
AWS App Mesh makes it easier to run services by providing consistent visibility and network traffic controls and helping you deliver secure services. App Mesh removes the need to update application code to change how monitoring data is collected or traffic is routed between services. App Mesh configures each service to export monitoring data and implements consistent communications control logic across your application.
