AWS ClearStart
A program dedicated to the privacy needs of Swedish public sector organizations
Amazon Web Services (AWS) ClearStart helps customers to continue to meet security and regulatory needs through a combination of encryption services, partner consultancy, technology architecture, and training.
While customers can already use AWS and comply with the local laws and regulations in Sweden, AWS ClearStart helps simplify compliance with Swedish and European Union (EU) regulatory requirements, including the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act (OSL) and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), as well as with international information security standards, such as ISO/IEC27001. AWS ClearStart caters to the needs of public sector customers, but all organizations in Sweden regardless of industry can use the program.

An AWS ClearStart deployment comprises two key elements: the AWS ClearStart Delivery Framework and the AWS ClearStart Production Environment, which is customized to each customer’s requirements before being deployed to the AWS Cloud. AWS ClearStart is available to customers through AWS Partner Network (APN) Consulting Partners Atea, Capgemini, Cybercom, KnowIT, Nordcloud, Omegapoint, and APN Technology Partner SecureAppbox. These partners have expertise migrating and managing public sector workloads along with a deep understanding of local, legal, and compliance requirements.
