Optiwave OptiPerformer is a freeware complement to Optiwave's OptiSystem photonics design and simulation suite. It includes an extensive samples library of typical optical data and communication designs (such as QAM and OFDM-based systems, WDM links, optical wireless, PON, etc.). It is particularly useful as an undergraduate or graduate teaching aid as it allows multiple users to concurrently load projects, run full simulations, and view results. OEM sales and marketing teams can also benefit by using this simulation tool to demonstrate design scenarios and performance characteristics of real systems built using vendor components or subsystems.
