Product Overview

This is a minimal CentOS 6.5 (i386) installation, on top of which Webmin and Shell-In-A-Box have been added. Using Yum RPM package manager, additional software like Apache, PHP, Perl and MySql DB can be easily installed on the fly. Webmin is one of the most used free web based system configuration tools for system administrators. In order to use it, you'll have to login first and then create an usable webmin username and password by running the webmin-init command. By default ssh root login is disabled and only the admin user is allowed to connect using public key authentication. Shell-In-A-Box is a web based SSH client that lets you access your server remotely using a web browser. Since the admin account has a randomly generated password and Shell-In-A-Box supports passwords authentication only, you'll have to use passwd command in order to create an usable admin password.
