MediaWiki is a free and open-source wiki application. It was originally developed by the Wikimedia Foundation and runs on many websites, including Wikipedia, Wiktionary and Wikimedia Commons. Symetricore MediaWiki gets you up and running easily and quickly. MediaWiki is a trademark of the Wikimedia Foundation.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

Usage instructions
Usage Instructions: Check your EC2 console to find the public IP address of your instance. To connect to the operating system directly, use SSH and the username ubuntu along with your key. Access MediaWiki via a browser at http://<public-ip>. The mediawiki administrator account is Admin, the password is the instance id of your image. Can't get it to load - Database error
Sadly I failed at the first hurdle. Created the EC2 and then went to the IP address and got an error "Cannot access the database" :-(
Simple and free!
I had trouble setting up a Bitnami instance, and was pleasantly surprised with how simple it was to set up a Symetricore instance. Thanks!
