An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

Usage instructions

To use MayaNAS you will need to take the following steps:

Launch the AMI and subscribe
Launch a storage optimized Instance using your key pair
To access the Web GUI, use a browser window and enter http://<instance-public-ip>:2020 and login using username admin and password as the instance ID ( value that starts with i- )
To change the default password connect to the launched instance using SSH as user ec2-user and set the password for Web Administration Console by running ec2-user$ sudo /opt/mayastor/web/changepass.sh
