AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Try this product free for 30 days according to the free trial terms set by the vendor. Usage-based pricing is in effect for usage beyond the free trial terms. Your free trial gets automatically converted to a paid subscription when the trial ends, but may be canceled any time before that.
You pay by the hour based on the AWS EC2 instance type you run. Each dimension maps to a specific instance, so your rate scales with the compute, memory, or storage profile you choose. The list spans general-purpose (t2, m4), compute-optimized (c5, c5d), memory-optimized (r4, r5, r5d, z1d), and storage-optimized (i3) families. Larger instance sizes within a family carry higher hourly rates. You are billed only for the hours each instance runs, with no upfront commitment. Pick the instance that matches your workload's performance and capacity needs.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What do I actually get for the hourly rate on each instance dimension?
You get the eXtremeDB for HPC software running on the AWS EC2 instance you select, billed per hour that instance runs. The rate covers the software license on that specific instance type. Underlying AWS compute, memory, and storage capacity come from your chosen instance size.
Am I charged when my instance is stopped or powered off?
Software charges accrue only while the instance runs, since billing is per hour of active use. A stopped or powered-off instance does not accrue software charges. AWS may still bill underlying storage for a stopped instance, but the software license meters running hours only.
Do I pay separately for features like clustering, high availability, or in-database analytics?
The hourly software rate covers the eXtremeDB for HPC capabilities on your chosen instance. This includes in-memory storage, columnar time-series handling, distributed query processing, high availability, clustering, and over 150 vector-based statistical functions. You are not billed by feature. Cost varies only by instance type and hours run.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

ExtremeDB - An Excellent solution for high-volume dbms

What do you like best about the product?
ExtremeDB is one of the best databse management system platforms that I have used which provides scalable and stable database solution and significantly boosts the amount of available net computing power.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, the terminal takes more time than needed to connect to the server, thus reducing the proficiency of the database program. This is however, compensated by the high performance and faster logging after the connection. Overall, ExtremeDB acts more favorable compared to it's competitor software systems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ExtremeDB helps me in optimizing the huge database of our organization which is interlinked with different types of connections and are complicated to do store manually due to it's non-stationary behavior on the data side. It's straightforward to operate even for my collegues because of it's SQL based algorithm for the basic processes.

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about Extreme db is it's extreme low latency, which leads to very low data retrival time that actually enhances the performance of application in real life
What do you dislike about the product?
The least helpful thing about Extreme db is it's complexity in configuring with embedded system. This is actually a tedious thing to the developers who are new to embedded environment based application
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ExtremeDB solves following problems for me - It has dynamic scalability in nature, so I don't wanna worry about it in future - It ensures reliability with data replication feature, so that as a user/admin I'm confident that data is always available - Low Latency leads to exponential performance improvement of my embedded application
