Overview
Deployed as a VM, Igneous can start backing up whole file systems to AWS within minutes, deliver insight into billions of files and petabytes of data within hours, and protect your entire enterprise within days. Igneous supports all NFS/SMB systems, and API-level integration simplifies setup and configuration with NetApp, Dell EMC Isilon, Pure FlashBlade and Qumulo. All other NFS/SMB NAS-based filesystems are supported, including Stornext, GPFS, Lustre, Linux NFS, Gluster, WekaIO, and SoftNAS.
Igneous is simple, flexible, and capable of moving backup and archive data to any AWS tier. By compressing data before upload and grouping files during backup/archive operations, Igneous dramatically reduces both cloud consumption and transaction costs, especially in multi-petabyte environments. In addition to backup and archive workflows, Igneous can also move NFS and SMB files at high speed directly into S3 storage.
