Titan SFTP Server is a fantastic choice for businesses looking for secure and reliable file transfer options. It can be quite complex for smaller organizations that only need basic file transfer capabilities, and the setup process often requires more technical expertise than simpler FTP solutions, which might be overwhelming for some users. Additionally, as an enterprise-grade solution, it tends to come with a higher price tag and may present compatibility issues with software from different vendors, alongside the necessity for careful management of its robust security features.

Titan SFTP Server allows us to send and receive files securely.

What do you like best about the product?

One of the most impressive features is its reliability and security. The encryption protocols ensure that data is transferred securely, which is essential when handling sensitive information. I also appreciate the easy-to-use interface, making it simple to set up users and permissions. It’s highly customizable, allowing for seamless integration into our existing systems, and the ability to automate processes via scripting is a massive time-saver. The server also provides detailed logs, helping with compliance and troubleshooting.

What do you dislike about the product?

The initial configuration can be a bit complex, especially for users who are not familiar with network setups or security protocols. While the documentation is comprehensive, some specific use cases could benefit from clearer examples. Occasionally, troubleshooting issues can take longer than expected.

The SFTP server is addressing the critical need for secure and reliable file transfers in our business. We handle sensitive client data that requires strict compliance with security standards like GDPR and HIPAA, and the encryption protocols offered by the server help us meet these requirements effortlessly. By automating file transfers, we’ve significantly reduced manual intervention, cutting down on errors and saving time. We have been using Titan SFTP Server for several years and it has served all of our SFTP needs very well. It meets all of our requirements and has been running smoothly for years.

What do you dislike about the product?

We have not had any issues with Titan SFTP Server.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use Titan SFTP Server to send and receive files to almost 100 clients. It has worked flawlessly.

What do you like best about the product?

Reliability. For well over a decade, I have never seen an issue with Titan SFTP. I expect more of the same with NextGen. Backups are critical and there is no doubt Titan SFTP will collect and store them. As an admin, this is one area where there just is no risk or concern, it just works.

What do you dislike about the product?

The only issues I can state is the risk to Titan SFTP and a shift to NextGen, which caused a new license type to be purchased.

Cisco only certifies three SFTP clients, Titan is one of them and it always works.

It is secured, fast and reliable to handle all our data transfer to all our end users.

What do you dislike about the product?

So far, I don't find any issue using this tool.
