The Linux operating system is updated with latest patches and the installation is secured by running mysql_secure_installation. The EC2 instance spun up from this AMI and ready to be used with minimum or no additional configuration.

Usage instructions
- Besides running mysql_secure_installation for securing the database, no configuration is done.
- SSH into the EC2 instance running the database as user specific to the operating system. See Remote Access to EC2 Node below to see the users listed.
- Connect to the database as user root using EC2 node instance id as the password. Change password if needed.
