Overview
This MIMIC MQTT lab demonstrates real-time, dynamic, predictable, custom telemetry from simulated sensors to MQTT subscriber clients or IoT applications. In this case we are publishing timestamped telemetry to your own internet-accessible MQTT broker, and receiving the message back in a subscriber client, which then calculates round-trip delays.
You can deploy this lab in all supported AWS regions to measure latency from different parts of the world to your IoT application.
Highlights
- Real-time latency measurement to your MQTT broker
- Change frequency, payload, QOS, topics at will to correspond to your unique traffic
- Complete customization is possible, including long-term monitoring of latency.
