The total time to produce results is 15 days. Most of this time is from EIP to onboard configure and deploy the Assessment. We also finalize the criteria of success agreement with the Executive Sponsor. VERY little time is required by IT or any other group.
Assessments require: An API to establish connection with the target platform. EIP provides over 100 APIs to popular databases.
A customer technical support person experienced with the target and source platform to periodically assist part time during the working business hours for the Assessment period of 15 days. This consists of working with EIP to establish the API connections and provide credentials and permissions to read source databases, and write the extracted data to the customers' target database.
Ideally the same person will provide unencumbered EIP READ ONLY access to the organizations source database(s) platform(s) to facilitate automated extract. And read/write access to the target platform.
Record layouts, and fields of database records to be extracted, and written.
If available customer provides an existing query for consistency. EIP will evaluate and use the query to complete the ETL and load the data in accordance with the criteria of success document. EIP will create a query if an existing query does not exist.
Mutually agreed upon criteria of success agreement to complete an Assessment of the EIP Service processing 10 records from the source database of choice by the prospect, and approved by EIP.
The prospect will receive the Assessment fee as a credit to the Connector subscription purchase. The Criteria of Success agreement document is provided in the fulfillment link.
As noted the process takes a limited amount of time from IT. Our APIs handle what could potentially be a multitude of source databases.
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. It is extracted via the internet or AWS Private Link directly from on premise databases, Cloud vendors, or directly from databases hosted in AWS. After the initial set up of APIs on the source and target servers and implementation of the required record layouts and initial test, there is no further involvement from the organization.
