AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
If you are an AWS Free Tier customer with a free plan, you are eligible to subscribe to this offer. You can use free credits to cover the cost of eligible AWS infrastructure. See AWS Free Tier for more details. See Legacy AWS Free Tier for more details.
You pay by the hour based on the EC2 instance size you choose to run Joomla. All 21 options bill on the same usage model, with the software running on Ubuntu 26.04. The dimensions map to standard AWS instance families: general-purpose (t2, t3, m3, m4, m5), compute-optimized (c3, c4, c5), and memory-optimized (r3, r4, r5). Within each family, sizes range from nano and micro up to 2xlarge. Larger instances carry more compute or memory, so your hourly rate rises with the capacity you select. You can start small and scale up as needed.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What do the hourly instance rates cover, and what falls outside the software charge?
Each rate covers the Joomla software running on Ubuntu 26.04 for the chosen EC2 instance, billed per running hour. Underlying AWS compute, storage, and data transfer are separate charges. The listing also carries maintenance support from the vendor, including version and security upgrades.
Am I charged the hourly software fee when my instance is stopped?
The hourly software charge meters running time only. When you stop an instance, the software fee stops accruing. Stopped instances may still incur underlying AWS storage fees for attached volumes, but those are billed by AWS, not as part of the software rate.
How do I decide between the general-purpose, compute-optimized, and memory-optimized instance options?
General-purpose families (t2, t3, m3, m4, m5) balance compute and memory for typical sites. Compute-optimized families (c3, c4, c5) favor processing-heavy traffic. Memory-optimized families (r3, r4, r5) suit workloads needing more RAM. Your hourly rate reflects the capacity each option provides.
